To me, not as funny as many, but still had some great lines.

Hurrah for parody! The "ergonomic" plastic bean-bag ("I don't care how Swedish your chair is") and the double un-reveal ("I am never doing that again! Oh, and here's a picture of my parents.") were great. What I really like, though, is how Bubs got a chance to strut his stuff as an over-enthusiastic salesman.

That was great. My favourite part was "Here's a picture of my parents" thing, and I didn't even hear him say that when I watched it. I though he just showing a picture of what he looked like without his mask. Then I read the wiki page, and could not stop laughing.

I also liked the part with Li'l Strong Bad, because I always like seeing the characters as kids. And Bubs the salesman. He does that so well.

I had a strong mental image of what he looked like with his mask off, based on the sounds he was making.

That's exactly what it was.

Hee hee. I liked this email.

I thought that Strongbad's face just looked like a huge chunky bunch of muscle mass...

I'm guessing that the stool's just going to come back, so stuff won't be obscured.

Please let that happen...

That one was VERY funny. The "chair that looked like an albino dog doo doo" was based on those crazy ergonomic chairs that pop up in offices.

Some moron gets the idea that sitting in some very uncomfortable position will increase productivity in the office, and your boss agrees. Then all the Dillberts like me, (except I got out of that rat race to stay home with my kids) have to be tortured by some nut case elites idea of "productivity."

Then of course, the "be careful what you wish for" scenario, of he changed the chair, but now no one can see the screen.

I thought it was really good.

Crabberdonk, I say.
CRABBERDONK!

This one was cute. Pretty funny at times.
The Winger/Anthrax thing made me laugh, as did the whole "chair in front of the computer" thing (the chair bit reminded me of Wilson on Home Improvement).

I liked it.

Note to self: Take paper route, light papers. Make sure car lighter thingy will light rolled up newspapers.

Overall, didn't care for this e-mail, though it had its moments.

I was not impressed with the Bubs bit at all (well, with the exception of the Anthrax/Winger lines ...) and the face/mask thing and the sweatpants were just weird.

I love the big chair though, and I honestly laughed out loud at the line -- "And, here's a picture of my parents."

After that incident with the sweatpants button, I'm pretty sure Strong Bad will go back to the stool, Stank or no Stank. So no worries on that front, folks.

Yeah, at first when they said executive office chair, I thought the stool would be replaced with one of those nice office chairs, and thus would end the get-up noise (those chairs have wheels, you know). Fortunately it looks like geddy is here to stay.

Yeah. Just picturing the flesh beneath the mask--dang, that is gonna FREAK ME OUT.

Picturing :sb: with no mask on: Let's see here...AAAAAH! He's got no skin!

Anyways, Grrreat email! Like frosted flakes great.

My favorite part would be the Homestar chair. What would do you do if your chair said "Ow" after you sat on it? I'm not sure what I would do. Would I lock it up in the closet, or dismantle it, and then lock it in the closet.

Glad the stool isn't going to get replaced or we're never ever going to see the email.

It seems the geddup noise (or actually chairscoot as SB made known a little while ago) would have stayed anyways, considering it is heard when he moves up to the computer with the new office chair.

But yeah, keeping that one would be awful, although I'd like to see something soon relating to its demise. Maybe an easter egg with it in the trash in the next email, or a short about its annoyance causing SB to throw it away.

Maybe Strong Bad is like Dumb Donald from Fat Albert.

In that 2004 live action Fat Albert movie when Donald went back into the cartoon world without his hat he just had a blank space where his hat was.

Maybe our hero Strong Bad faces this same problem of not having anything under his "mask" especially since we have that picture of the mask seeming to be on an invisable head.

Great email. 9/10

Hmm.. It never resolved what he'd do at the end. I bet the next sbemail, he gets another chair that replaces Stooly, or whatever the old one is called.

I loved this sbemail. I knew they'd do the chair blocking computer gag at the end... but the face and parents thing was hillarious. This is email is

SOLID!

Things that I love:

Bubs' pose while on that treadmill
Li'l SB's face in his paper route
And Strongbad's craaaazy parents

Also: "Aaaw your snowman died" and "I don't care how Swedish your chair is. I have no need for a giant albino doggie-doody"

Heh. Opening was sort of weak with the stank stool, but once it moved out to Bubs it was solid gold. I lke Bubs more than ever now, from his little one-foot slide to his multiple attempts at selling "ethical" chicken beaks. And, of course, Strong Bad answering OUR BIGGEST QUESTIONS EVER was amazing. B+. I think you can tell what made me laugh the hardest.

The whole email was great, except for the end (the sweatpants incident.) I mean, pressing a button and having the machine go crazy is the oldest gag evar. EVAR I SAY! :bubs:

I was just thinking. Maybe Strong bad's parents really are a grey background with "nice try, dodongo" written on it. After all, he said Pom Pom's parents were a filing cabinet.

...Or maybe not.

i just really liked that the Chaps are willing to screw with the people who obsess over things like what strng bad would look like without his mask, or who his parents are.

in fact, i think poking fun at the obsessive fans was the best part of the email. that and bubs talking gibberish.

What's will all these complaints about the email being "random?" The randomness and utter "don't question it"-ness of H*R was what originally attracted me to it. Come on now.

This email epitomized the classic qualities of the site and style of TBC...they sure love teasing the fans. As a lowly computer nerd wannabe, it's always funny to me when I hear about stuff like the decompiling gag they pulled in this email, or Not The 100th Email, stuff like that makes me go "Daaang, I never woulda THOUGHT of that!"

Nice new avatar too. Took me a while to get it, which... is kinda pathetic for me. :P
