I just noticed something about the Tandy.

In retirement, Strong Bad recalls that he checked emails on the Tandy in 2002, which is proof that the homestarrunner universe runs in the same time period as ours. However, in no loafing, the flashback of Strong Bad first putting up the sign has the Tandy right behind him. According to Strong Bad, that occured in 1987. This means that unless he either went through one or several Tandy's from 1987 to 2002.

Well, who's to say that he didn't have the Tandy back then. I mean, just because some kinda robot was the first e-mail on the site doesn't exactly mean that it was the first e-mail he ever checked in his life.

I think the Tandy was Strong Bad's first computer ever.

I agree. He has obviously checked more emails than what has been documented, though he only keeps count of ones that were made into cartoons (thus breaking the fourth wall). Besides, the Tandy is so old, so who knows?

In "Hremail 7", it shows that Strong Bad first had the Tandy back at 2001, which explains how the emails first started. Homestar lets him have the Tandy, which was his computer until he said it barely works.

I don't take the hremails seriously. at all. They are the largest inconsistency in the history of HSR.com. In previous emails he had the Tandy much earlier (see: no loafing. There's a pic from 1987 in there) than that and has also been familiar with computers since childhood (see: the paper)

And don't forget: this discussion is from 2006. It does not reflect current events at all.
