This is a weird idea for a topic, I know...

Have you ever clicked on a sbemail that you thought would be something totally different than what you thought it would be? not counting "sbemails taken in a different direction?"
I.E.
I thought "retirement" would be about :sb: talking about what he'd do when he retired a-to the MOOOOON!! Guess what - ERRK!
I also thought that with "the bird," "some kinda robot," and "the facts," and lots more.

That would be an Email Taken in a Different Direction. ThnikkOwen said not to count those.

I always went to the sbemail page before clicking on the link to the latest one. And yes, I found some of the names to be a little deceiving before I even watched these emails. Of course, there are titles that should've been a little more specific. If I were responsible for titles, I would've changed some the following names to more suitable ones:
Animal -> Made-Up Animal
Pop-Up -> Pop-Up Book
Buried -> Buried Ruins
Rated -> either R-Rated or Restricted

And that's all I can think of...for now. Can anyone else think of better names for some other ones? Perhaps Specially Marked could be changed to Cereal Boxes or something.

Actually, now that I think of it, the sbemails were probably named like that to keep us hanging. Oh, well.

"huttah" could have been renamed "the cheat", but I guess they didn't want two consecutive emails named after characters. I don't know why they wouldn't want that though.

Because it's weird. Frankly, I don't know anyone who would like seeing that.

I keep mistaking "for kids" for "kids' book".

I thought "the bird" was about hunting or something. I had no idea that it was about the "f*** you" thing, and I was pretty shocked...

Me too. I didn't even know that "the bird" was another name for "the finger" at that time.

That's weird! I didn't either! I asked my friends 8 months later... :blush:

And what about 'the bet' ? The question asked was 'have you ever gone to the king of town's place for dinner?'. That always confused me. Kevin DuBrow? Awasome, but confusing.

huttah!

That was a title that made no sense, at all.

And apparently I'm not the only one who confuses for kids with pop up book.

Okay, I thought "the bird" was about birdwatching. Turns out I was wrong.

Strong Bad gets lots of emails praising The Cheat.

I had to look this one up, but DANIEL (sic) asks Strong Bad to prove he is taken so DANIEL's GIRLFRIEND can get over her crush on Strong Bad. The title of the email is one of the names that Strong Bad calls her.

I didn't know a crap what 12:00 was, I thought spring cleaning would be SB cleaning a house or something. "What?" was my expression to colonization.

I still wish they renamed "for kids" to "kids' show" or "public television"

For some reason, I thought that "flashback" would be about a bunch of funny stuff from the past, but instead, it was a CRAPPY KID'S BOOK!!!!!!!!

I thought THE BIRD would be about just that: birds. Also, I thought CAR would actually be about cars.

"Car" would have been about cars if Homestar didn't interrupt.

Or if Strong Bad wasn't about to delete it, like he was just about to before Homestar interrupted!

I thought "lady...ing" was going to have direct references to making out. And if you're not careful, you could get it mixed up with "lady fan".

One of the ones that confused me right off the bat was unnatural. At first, I thought it might somehow relate to Coach Z, not Bubs.

Oh, yeah, I just thought of another thing: I thought that THE MOVIES would be about the descriptions of different movies, rather than having an experience inside the theater.

I completely didn't get huttah! at all. Why the crap was it called that? I also confused rated for the movies and I thought the bird would be about an ugly bird or something.
