Has anyone else noticed this? Bits and pieces of Strong Bad's Different Town song on the email are coming true.

1. It's implied that the Poopsmith says "Oh Yeah" in 'Senior Prom'
The Poopsmith he could talk...
2. Marzipan makes a rock band called "Cool Tapes"
Marzipan could rock...

Uhm...well nothing else really. That's kinda cool though, right? I dunno, does Coach Z ever wear a jacket or something?

I dunno. I think Different Town was meant as a joke and is only part of Strong Bad's imagination. Sure, his imagination and the HR universe can intertwine at points, but it's still unlikely that there'll be a different town. I mean, what would we do if Homestar quit?

I know, that's why this is sounding mysterious to me. I doubt they'll go the entire way with it though. The King of Town would be underground in a box filled up with peeeeas...

Apparently because they're one of the few foods he hates, and Strong Bad knows it.

Anyway, that is pretty uncanny, Abelhawk.

The Bros. Chaps should do a cartoon starring the different town, I'd be cool!

As BucketHand mentioned, he hates peas. Therefore, they're probably the one thing he won't eat his way through to escape.

I concur with Chikenleg: different town was just a fun explosion of SB's imagination to celebrate his 99th email. Would make quite an interesting cartoon though, wouldn't it, in a weird way.

Woah! You're right!

Theres a new toon coming soon. I wonder if the King of Town will get buried with peas...

Now that I think about it, Homestar did quit. In Disconnected. Granted, that was probably in Strong Bad's imagination, but still.

Heh! I never really thought about that before. The Popsmith "talks" and Marzipan has her "cool tapes" rock band.

You just never know with H*R. That's what makes it so fun. I'm also really curious about that DNA evidence *.* Hopefully that'll lead to some kind of toon or kewl Sbemail.

Anyway I'm off topic x.x Point is...H*R can be unpredictable so it'll be fun to see what happens next

Well, Strong Bad would be able to fully take over as main character of the site... since he already is the reason we visit the website in the first place. I wouldn't mind seeing Coach Z wearing the jacket.

Two options:

A ) This is a coincidence, and just the way the characters ended up heading. And besides, the Poopsmith implied it WASN'T him who waid "Oh, yeah!!!" anyways. This option is the most likely...

B ) Since TBC are turning more towards story arcs and plotlines and continuity (first the Missing Lappy storyline, then the DNA Evidence thing which tied together quite a few emails), everything may at some point eventually come true, like you said, and then Strong Bad will eventually notice and be astounded.

But again, I think A is more likely.

I noticed, it says homestar just couldnt hack it and quit, and in disconnected coach z clearly said Ol' strammies gona and quit the runnin' buuisness, granted that was a hypothetical scenario but still, freaky stuff.

I think Strong Bad just really wants Homestar to quit so he can win for once.

I think that its all in :sb:s head.
Although there have been some coincidences. I doubt the majority of that will not come true.

Seeing how Homestar Runner is, I think they may have done those on purpose. But don't expect the whole deal.

If the email is still up, I'm not sure how they could not remember the lines to their song.

Anyway, as it has been said, the Poopsmith did not talk in Senior Prom, and even though Marzipan started a rock band, that has nothing to do with the email. In case you forgot, Strong Bad, himself, admitted that he was using his imagination in making the song, when he said, "I think my imagination's broke."

In other words, SB's not a prophet, but if TBC wanted to make a "Different Town" 'toon, that would still be awesome.

I think they have them written down while recording, just in case they forget.
