As a graphic designer, I found Strong Bad's description of how he laid out the brochures and what he used to do it especially hilarious. This one was pretty good, though I think I liked the last SBemail a little more.

"That's a bad sign."

I think they realized we were anticipating The Paper being upgraded :P

Aw... I love The Paper! Why must it go? I mean, I was only half expecting the montage thing to be true...

Yeah, not one of my favorites, but had a few chuckles.
Favs:
:sb: Mercinaries. Mercinaries!
 Yaaaaaay!
:hr: You look like you come from a long line of five bucks-havers.
:sb: Missionaries. Aw, crap, I did it again! MERCINARIES! WE DO BAD STUFF!
Overall, I give it a 6 1/2 out of 10.
And, two things.
1: Buttor? COME ON! That's just a pitiful attempt for a laugh.
And two, Strong Bad actually DID show a little concern, although he didnt try to do anything.

My feelings towards this one were, "Good, but not the best", until the end, when they changed to, "They are gonna address it! :D :D :D"

I liked the King of Town's video, and the Easter Egg with [s]Firebert[/s]Trogdor.

Alas, is this the beginning of the end for The Paper, hero of the "My Lappy Got Stole" arc? He will be sadly missed...

Anydangway, this was some pretty amusing stuffs. I saw military propaganda... I mean, advertising all through high school, so the "Vaguely Military Career Fair" was funny. Still, if I had to pick a group, I'd go with the On Point Kings. I don't care if they're missionaries or mercenaries, they've got a full-color brochure printed on 65-pound cardstock! Cardstock, man! Who can say no to that?

This email was fanfreakingtastic. I LOL’d at a few parts—namely the three-weeks-later gag and Homestar's whole monologue.

Would you please stop assuming that everyone shares your opinion, whether they realise it or not? I am personally quite attached to the Paper, or as attached as it's possible to be to a cartoon piece of printing paper. I'd be sad to see it go.

I, personally, kinda spazzed at the end. On the one hand, yeah, it was highly unlikely that TBC would miss out...on the other...it was, like, two years ago, man!!!

*checks*

No....no, I was wrong. It was two and a half...almost exactly. Man, during that time, there were occasions I almost gave up on watching Homestar Runner (don't worry, I've repented), but looking forward to this upcoming sbemail kept me holding on.

Ten bucks says they make us hold out for an extra week, as the sbemails have been so infrequent.

As for the rest of the sbemail, I thought it was pretty kick-awesome. Especially the "Oh...it's in three weeks" gag. Reminded me of the Strong Badathlon..."You know, it's funny how this always seems to work out, Rudkin, but those just happen to be..."

Nice change-up. :-)

Whoa Shwoo, I guess it's a good thing the paper has perforated edges ... the easier to detach? But it might not be as "a bad sign" as all that; maybe (s)he's due for an upgrade! The same personality perhaps, but physically spiffier -- with acrylic edges, finer grain and weightier paper. And recycled -- that way The Paper 2.0 can be hip with the best of modern earth worship; and more 2-point-oh-ee-er too; yea, cuz 2.0 could mean recycled.... Anyhow, if this goes, it certainly should get some kinda award for "longest foreshadow".

[Edit:] YEA! It's my very own centeniPost.

Yeah, me too. It wasn't supposed to be a childish "butt" joke, Mr. askingforachallenge. It was a play on the KOT's obsession with butter (butt-tor; get it?).

Fairly good sbemail, and glad to see TBC look like they're living up to their promise with the paper. Bad sign indeed...

I bet ya Strong Bad gets like, an laser printer or something. He replaced Compy with Lappy easily enough, so I bet the old fashioed printer is...wait... He doesn't have a printer! WTF? Never noticed that... I guess it always has been just 'the paper.'

Maybe he'll upgrade to Matte or glossy paper, lol.

This e-mail pushed it a bit... 'slight religious overtones?' 'Strong basket-boobs?'

;)

TBC only did that ending cause they knew from emails that people were worried about the paper.
so i think the TBC have done it as a joke

now about this email, it is good, funny and not to overdone like they sometimes do.
all in all

i rate it a :homsar: 2 :sb: a :poop: and 2
(which means 8.7 out of 10)

Yes I was thinking that as well. Strong bad will probably try to get it fixed, just like the Tandy. Well, that's my predictionl lol.
