I wasn't really in the mood for Homestar Runner when I watched this. So the only thing that made me smile was Strong Sad's line, and Strong Bad's reaction. I guess I'll watch it again tomorrow when I'm not feeling so burnt out. |

That was an okay email. Not spectacular, but pretty good. I liked Strong Bad's disguises, his attempt at cat-burgling his own couch, and his totally unsubtle "secret message to all bike thieves". Also amusing were the New Paper's appeal to nostalgia, and Homestar's trash can (or possibly robot) disguise. |

My first instincts put this as a rather weaksauce email, but I did like the stereotypical collegean portrayals there. Also the faux Paper at the end

Yeah, this sbemail was ok. Not one of their better ones but it *did* make me laugh, which is most important, I did like the paper remark at the end though, "He was so...stripedy..." heheh.. The easter egg also made me giggle. |

This one hit home because I have a really awesome Mountain Bike with me at college. I recently had my bike seat stolen. I guess I'm lucky that the whole thing didn't get stolen! All that considered I only thought it was an alright email. |

I thought it was funny that there were separate eyeholes in Strong Bad's barrel costume in addition to the cliched hole that already existed in the barrel. Also, I'm sick of being approached by hippies with petitions, and I pretty much use the exact same excuses as Homestar every time. |

The parodies were just all-over-the-place enough to be funny. We've got a send-up of the old cartoon standby of implausible disguises, we've got jokes at the expense of college students, and for some reason we've even got cat-burgling. That, my friends, is a pretty good email. |

Hey all, new to the forum but a long-time fan of H*R. This was a B+ email, but it did remind me of college, and having my bike stolen, A generic mounTAIN bike no less. I even had one of those metal horseshoe shaped locks through the front wheel, I come back and there's my lock and front wheel still attached to the bike stand! I guess the dude had a front wheel and no bike, or wanted to try mountain Unicycling |

Ooh, new email. I'll get to it tonight. But just wanted to say the poll that was up here didn't match the others, so I edited it. But now if you already voted you gotta vote again. Remember to make the poll match the others if you create a thread. This is your guide. There's a reason for this: if the different emails have different ranking systems, they can't be compared well. A scale of 1-5 matches up to a scale of 1-10 differently for different people. Some people would have 1=1,2; 2=3,4; 3=5,6, etc, and other people actually do something like 1=1-5; 2=6; 3=7,8; 4=9; 5=10. So anyway, yeah. Polls are from 5 (best) to 1 (worst). Thx. |

It was a solid email. I chuckled about 3 or 4 times through the email. I'd give it a 3/5 or a 4/5. I'd give it a 3/5, just because I'd feel like I'd be cheating if I gave it 4/5. These days, people seem to have forgotten that a C is actually a pretty good score. So 3/5 it is. |

Alot of bikes are stolen because those U bolt locks are not secured to the frame of the bike. A bit less secure but more secure than the front wheel is the back wheel as it is harder to detach a rear wheel than a front wheel of a bike. Man, I miss college now. That was pretty funny. I loved how Homestar just threw the chain over the bush. My favorite thing was the trashcan easter egg. That whole "talking inanimate object" thing reminded me of the old blonde joke where the blonde and her friends hid in bags. Long story short, someone poked the other bags, the people in them made animal noises. The blonde said "po-ta-toes". Anyway, yeah, I liked this one. I would have liked it more last summer, though, when the emails were so-so. The last few have been so good that it's hard to measure up. |
