I, personally, think this one is hilarious, I don't know what all the fuss is about. This one feels like a good old fashioned sbemail.

I love this one, especially the fcot and the halloween reference.

5/5

1/5. Seriously. It had a whole lot of potential, and I've been waiting for another one of those "competition" cartoons where Strong Bad, Strong Mad, and The Cheat team up and then Homestar and Pom Pom have to stop them somehow. I liked that the announcer returned, the halloween easter egg was kinda funny, but whenever they mentioned Homestar's partner I kept hoping Pom Pom would show up (he's my fav. character), but then he got taken out so they could put in an unfunny joke about Homestar's Imaginary Tag Team Wrestler, which was made even worse when Strong Bad cut in and explained the whole joke. All in all, at least now there's no contest over which of the Strong Bad emails was my least favorite.

I don't have a rating system, but if I did I would rate this Low score/ :stinko:

I thought it was quite funny myself, I'm not sure why so many people hate it so much.

For some reason, I laughed out loud. I'm not sure why; it was a terrible email, but it was strangely true. I think the only good parts were Homestar's last "hoo-yeah", and Gardenboy's flamethrower-can. I greatly enjoyed this one, but any more of the bland "talk about a topic as much as possible" emails and I'll complain.

TBC, you got lucky today, but try harder next time.

This was a good email. I giggled all the way through SB and H*R's crazy rants and loved the ending, especially that beat at the very end where the watering can is revealed to be a flamethrower or something. This email, what with the wrestling (yes, wrestling) and all, brought me back to the Olden Days of Homestar Runner and Marshmallow's Last Stand. All in all, it's solid. I wouldn't give it any less than a 3/5; in fact, it probably deserves a 3.5 out of 5 just for all the times it made me giggle. Homestar as The Jack 'Em Up Kid was classic stuff.

Anyway, I would give it a 3.5 out of 5 if I could, but I can't, so I'll round up to a 4. What can I say, I'm generous.

How could you possibly call this one old fashioned? It is a prime example of how the newest sbemails are really losing their edge. The peak of quality was around email 150.
This could really have been saved with some more references to "marshmallow's last stand". I mean Strong Bad is a wrestleman, it's his identity, you think there would have been a bit more effort on this one...

Sorry about ranting, 2.5/5. It was ok, but could have been much better.

This reminded me so much of Strongest Man In The World, but it was kinda slow until Homestar got decked with the folding chair. Oh, and Strong Sad was pretty hilarious at the end.

Still, I give it a 3.5/5. Not as good as some of the more recent ones, but okay.

A-am I the ONLY one who enjoyed this?
I was thoroughly amused by this one. :] Homestar streatching his pants( ? ) over his face made me laugh far harder than it should have.
Seriously, I like spat all over my hand.
It was gross.

Andd Hoemstar's stupid little outfit was SO adorable. Tag-team Strong Bad/Mad made me smile. I espeically enjoyed the spikey shoulder pads editions. And as some people have said, the whole wrestling thing made it feel like a good, old-fashioned email. :]
I give it a delicious out of five.

I loved that SBEmail. I loved it because it kinda hits home with me. Being a fan of pro-wrestling (and especially the old school variety) it struck everything right.

watched wrestling during the WCW glory days, this was the perfect parody. The Pompous Brit joke made laugh, and it was all downhill from there (because it was so true)
5/5, very satisfying.

Funniest moment: Strong Sad as Garden Boy with the flaming watercan, and the Cheat as Japanese valet. Hilarious.

Awful. That possibly one of the least funniest sbemails ever. It had it's moments, but yeah...not good. It even felt like it was dragging on for once, and that's bad.

Man, why all the hate for SBEmail 183? I might not know a lot about pro wrestling, but I like how Strong Bad went through all those wild variations on the stereotypical "evil foreigner" heel, and his wild ideas for tag-teams. Though I will admit disappointment at Pom-Pom not being Homestar's tag-team partner. I mean, what's this "Gary the Legend" mess?

Strong Sad as "Gardenboy" with his flame-spouting watering can was probably the high point of the email for me. "All right, all you gophers out there... bring it on!"

Wow...
I'm loving it.

Best parts: Brothers Strong as Road Warriors/L.O.D., Mr Fuji, and of course, the one nobody gets... BEEF AND CHEDDAR!

Rax is a great restaurant. I wish there was one here. Unfortunately, I think the closest one is back near my parents' homes.

Yes. It was the first toon on the site, it's not that obscure.
actually shwoo, having a neverending knowledge of everything homestar, marshmellows last stand was the 2ND cartoon ever to come out on the site. the first one was where my hat is at seriously.

Where My Hat Is At wasn't really a toon. It wasn't animated or anything, although you're right that it was the first Homestar Runner thing on the internet. According to the commentry is was on "Mike's old Free Country, USA site".

If you want to get technical, the first Homestar Runner toon ever was the Super NES version of the theme song video.

I thought it was pretty good. Not a fan of wrestling though, I dunno if that made me like it less. It was very interesting to watch though. I liked Homestar's outfit.
Kinda funny, yeah.

Hi, new here, just thought I'd throw my two cents in one this one.

I thought this email was awesome. I've been a wrestling fan for about 10 years or so, and this is one of the best parodies of it I've ever seen. There were a ton of inside jokes that only either 80s wrestling fans would get, a couple of nice references to 1990's-2000's ECW ("Take me off the air" was a reference to a speech ECW Owner Paul Heyman made during an ECW on TNN broadcast in 2000 in which he got legitimately annoyed with the complete lack of support the network was giving his show), and even a reference to the JBL tranquilizer angle in 2005. I laughed incredibly hard all the way through this.

This is kind of a marmite email. If you got the references, it was awesome. If you didn't, it could easily go over your head and not appear to be very good. I think it was very clever, and I have a new favourite SBEmail.

You guys do an awesome job with this site, fair play to ya.

No, you're not the only one. I also liked it a lot, and I don't enjoy wrestling at all.

Lemme see we have references to:
Hulk Hogan (Homestar)

The Road Warriors (the spiked shoulderpads SB and SM were wearing are classic Road Warrior style. Not to mention the mohawk.)

Mr. Fuji (the Cheat)

Jerry "The King" Lawler (SB's British gimmick)

"Rowdy" Roddy Piper (SB's interview show and the fact that 99.9% of Roddy's shows ended with someone getting a chair to the noggin')

Ric Flair (Homestar's "Hoo Yeah!" is a reference to Ric's "Whoo!")

Kevin Sullivan (He was known for his "climbing the mountain" speeches. He was big on eating beetle nuts.)

Junkyard Dog (The "Em' Up!" on the back of Homestar's tights is a reference to Junkyard Dog's "Thump!" on the back of his.)

I'm pretty sure Announcer Man is supposed to be "Mean" Gene Oakerlund (Hogan was famous for starting his intereviews with 'Well, you know Mean Gene..." just like Homestar did.)

Anyone who watched mid-80's WWF should really love this one! That being said, I loved this one! The Rudy from Fat Albert easter egg was icing on an already awesome cake.

5/5 all the way.

Actually, Lawler never had a Brittish gimmick. He always claimed to be from Memphis. It's probably more of a William Regal Reference, if you ask me.

Dooglas wrote:

Actually, I saw this as more of a Macho Man reference, as he always said "Ohh, yeah!"
