HA!! For whatever reason that scenario made me laugh out loud. Just picturing Strong Bad on his knees wailing "NOOOOOOOO!!" melodramatically is hilarious. The infamous Darth Vader scene comes to mind easily.

I think it would be a lot more problematic to kill off the Lappy than the previous computers. The Lappy has shown much more character than the Compy or Tandy ever did (actually talking to Strong Bad and such). I certainly don't think killing it off anytime soon would be a good idea.

Here's how it's gonna go down: SB is gonna get a new new paper after what the New Paper did in email thunder. The Newest Paper will do a lab experiment on the Lappy andit will turn in Vector Homsar. It will happen in 201. So there ya go!

Uhhh. I think they all show pretty much the same character and it's just a computer. It doesn't really matter which he is using... change is good. I wouldn't mind seeing something different. Although I know they probably don't want to mess with it because they'd have to mess with the randomizer on the menu page and they don't have that Jonathan guy anymore to code that kind of stuff for them do they?

You're forgetting that the Lappy has a female personality who thinks Strong Bad is "looking prooty hot" and wants to "tell whim I love". Sure, it started out as a daydream, but things Strong Bad makes up have a tendency to become real.

It may be an even shorter wait than 5 years. It's possible that Accent was actually created in 2004 or 2005 but deemed unworthy of playing on the website.

This I would find interesting when Strong Bad gets an email from Sibbie.

First, Lappy asks "Do You Want Read It?"

Strong Bad yells no.

Then, after Lappy loads that email anyway, SB says:

"Wait a minute! Is this one of your freakin' spyware tricks, Lappy? Then I'll have to apply...
SUPER EDGAR!!! (No Spies And Ads Permitted)"

comes in 10 seconds later and starts touching the lappy's screen,and it burns out.(I notice it is not very,um...funny,but it could actually go in flames)

it will die when the number of lappy era emails is double the number on the compy.

It would be funny if it dies because the people who made lappy didn't make it capable of using the date "2009" cuz they didn't think anyone would use that computer that far into the future, so it exploded on New Year's (like the whole Y2K fiasco but it was Y2K9)...

Well, let's look at the other deaths of previous systems:
Tandy: Exploded, later replaced by Compy. Came back in "retirement", and was DELETED! and re-exploded by KoT's "after-dinner mints".
Compy: Virus'd and shotgun'd. Came back in "retirement" and was eaten by Strong Mad.
The Paper: Printer broke. Was burninated by Strong Bad. Came back in "email thunder" to beat the crap out of New Paper. Re-burninated by the Happy 8600 incident. Came back in SBCG4AP (depending on when SBCG4AP takes place in the H*R universe, because if it takes place before "the paper", The Paper was still alive. If it happens after "email thunder", then the Happy 8600 didn't permanently burninate The Paper.).
New Paper: Always low on ink/needs cartridge cleaning (I think the latter is more likely, since line streaking like on New Paper is usually caused by a dirty cartridge, not low ink. Then again, it seems to also be color-shifted slightly. Maybe it is both dirty cartridge and low on ink.). Beat up by The Paper in "email thunder". Fate unknown, though maybe after the credits rolled, New Paper was burninated by the same fire that re-burninated The Paper.
Lappy: Toe cut off by the Lappynappers (Tandy and Compy) prior to "retirement". Was probably put back on after that. Functionion to this date, though the filth of the hremail probably soiled its hard drive. Used throughout SBCG4AP.
Happy 8600: Was short-circuited and probably destroyed by Strong Bad's "libewally applied" "allegedly citrus-flavored payback" in "email thunder".

I think that, if the Lappy ever dies, it will probably involve an explosion. Though it can't be done with soda and Oh No You Dent!, because the Lappy has a flat screen. Maybe Trogdor (the real one, not the one that was from 8-Bit Is Enough) burninates the Lappy...

(Bubs comes to podium and Homestar leaves)
Bubs: (ahem) It is a real loss that our friend the Flabby died-
Strong Bad: (groan)
Bubs: -but if you act now you can come to the Concession Stand and get all types of crazy crap!
Strong Bad: (whispers madly) Get off the stage!
Bubs: (real fast-like) Remember, that's 1-800-BUBS-STAND!!!!!

And it goes on like that, and the next e-mail would be on Homestar's computer or something...

I like the idea of Coach Z breaking the Lappy. Since The Cheat uses new computers, he could always give Strong Bad one of his old ones. There could be some humor is Strong Bad trying to figure out how to get it to run.
