while i havent posted much, ive been lurking on these forums a long time, and ive heard simmilar phrases uttered often (jumped the shark, going down hill, ect.). theres always gonna be somebody that thinks the apocolypse is comming but so far none have been right.

Let him have his moment—everyone needs to get worried about something every once in a while.;) Now while I do think T.B.C. have hit several slumps, never did I feel the site was coming to an end. Constantly and consistently creating good, creative content is not an easy thing to do, and the fact that T.B.C. had such a long, solid run (creatively) from 2001 to late 2004/early 2005 is something that still amazes me. The slumps might be more frequent, but they certainly haven't killed the site, and I can say I still love waking up on Monday morning to see what they've put up.

Okay, so I can't prove it. But I wrote that email like, a year ago when I was actually in love with somebody. I never imagined that it would get answered after all this time.

OH. MAN. :D

When I decided randomly to go on HR at like 2:00 in the morning last night, I wasn't expecting an update. And lo.....THERE WAS ONE! That was awesome in and of itself.

And the email---it rocked! The scented candle names, the Teen Girl Squad clip, Homestar and Strong Bad's little song and dance, and the part when Homestar's like "Are me and Marzipan even together??" a million times and then he's like, "Yeah we just broke up again." That was so hilarious. I think my favorite part was the second time Strong Bad and Homestar started singin' and dancing, and it cut them off and went back to the computer. XD

I also like Strong Sad's little bit at the end. One of these days Strong Sad is just gonna explode.

I sincerely hope you're for real, because that would mean that the TBC don't get rid of old emails! Some of my emails may still have a chance! :D

*sigh* Another all-Strong Bad email. Seriously, this is just another email to have :sb: just talking the whole way through and then a :hr: appearance at the end so we don't get suspicious. I won't even mention the short Easter Egg with Strong Sad, cause easter eggs don't count. Although, the humor and Teen Grrl clip helped it, so I give this email :sb: :sb: :sb: :sb: / :sb: :sb: :sb: :sb: :sb: I'm being nice because TBC are workin' on the game.

I liked the part with Coach Z and Strong Sad's little freakout at the end. Also, are Strong Bad and Homestar's black turtlenecks and balding curly hair supposed to be some sort of reference? The wiki doesn't seem to have anything on it...

One of the best e-mails ever. To those who thinks homestarrunner is in a state of decline with this e-mail I must challenge you to look at the ratings of toons prior to this since it is one of the most liked in a while, which says quite a bit since the others have not been poorly received either its just hard to beat ratings like these its practically split down the middle between 5/5 and 4/5.

Anyway brilliant e-mail! 5/5.

Agreed. I think the emails have been greatly improving in quality lately (not to say they weren't awesome before; I am still a sucker for the classic ones). When I first returned to the site and started catching up on all the emails I missed out on, I was blown away by the many levels of hilarity that were going on in each one.

Anywho, I wish we could download that Tenerence Love song.

And one more thing. "And when that gets you slapped and escorted from her building by security, you can always buy a fourteen-pound bag of extra-long—" What do you think he was gonna say?

But yes, good email. "inchiladas" had me laughing out loud, which is fairly impressive feat. :-)

Anyway, loved this email! 'Homeless Romantic,' no matter how offensive, made me lol.
Wow, was I the only person who laughed at the apostrophe overuse? <_< I really think that was the best part in the email. After "Z is too hard, so this time I'll pass."
And the whole sequence after the grocery list.
And how effective scented candles are for sucking up to your girlfriend.
And Strong Sad's easter egg.

'kay, i give. the whole thing was genius.

Wow. This email is cool.

It's got the perfect combo of Strong Bad making fun of a person's name, and Strong Bad making fun of the world. Also the TGS insert was nice, it and TGS #14 proves that TBC haven't forgotten about them.

But I don't think the site has gone down. And to the one who thinks this was their email, I think TBC's said in the Ga Tech thing that they keep the emails, then when they get enough of one type (like in this case, love poem requests) they pick the best one, and try to write a story around it. They also mentioned (and this was a few years back mind you) that it's getting harder to pick a email especially when most of the emails they get, have been done in some form before (SB's parents/mask anyone?).

'twas pre'y fun'y, but it sorta follwed the email "formula" that's been there for the past few emails:

1. Strong Bad gets email.
2. Cutaway to random place, Stro Bro dresses up in a wierd outfit (possibly) then talks about the subject
3. Cutaway to random TGS or powered by the cheat segment.
4. Ho'star ru'er shows up, talks on subject for a bit, acts stupid
5. End of email.

Also, it didn't have any real characters other than STong Bud, ho to the omestar, and Powerful depression. Again.

Aside from point there, this has been the basic formula since like email 100, hasn't it?
