One of the best e-mails ever. To those who thinks homestarrunner is in a state of decline with this e-mail I must challenge you to look at the ratings of toons prior to this since it is one of the most liked in a while, which says quite a bit since the others have not been poorly received either its just hard to beat ratings like these its practically split down the middle between 5/5 and 4/5.

Anyway brilliant e-mail! 5/5.

Agreed. I think the emails have been greatly improving in quality lately (not to say they weren't awesome before; I am still a sucker for the classic ones). When I first returned to the site and started catching up on all the emails I missed out on, I was blown away by the many levels of hilarity that were going on in each one.

Anywho, I wish we could download that Tenerence Love song.

And one more thing. "And when that gets you slapped and escorted from her building by security, you can always buy a fourteen-pound bag of extra-long—" What do you think he was gonna say?

When I first saw the email at that part and I saw Homestar coming in I thought Strong Bad was about to say Long Pants and Homestar would be trying to prove he wears long pants or something...

I lurved it. Homestar had some excellent lines in here, and the bit with Strong Sad at the end was great because the entire email I was thinking, "when are we going to see Strong Sad? This is soo his topic of expertise."

I have to admit though, it was no "The Chair". That was both a :bubs: and a :sb: classic!

Gahh, I was giggling so hard during the scented candles bit. Strong Bad is so awesome at wording things sometimes.

This was a great email. Strong Bad's unusual yet all-too-true way of describing things is still as sharp as ever, and the TGS cameo was priceless.

Poor Strong Sad. :(

4/5.

The scented candle bit was genius. They give those things some really weird names and scents. But, probably most hilariously, he mentioned the unscented "emergency" candles. That was great.

I also loved the way Homestar said that raisins give him bad gas. SO GREAT!

I seriously hope that they finish the game soon. I mean, come on. They rarely update the website, and when they do, it's done poorly. I mean, this had its laughs, with the candles and the Elizibethans, but they were the only things that actually supported the email. Homestar was only there to make it so it wasn't just Strong Bad, and don't get me started on Strong Sad. He's been annoying me for a long time now. In the old days he was good, because he was a nice person, who just got ruthlessly attacked by others. Now he's the person that comes in and contradicts everyone and ****ing me off. I know how Strong Bad feels.

And another thing. Only 2 cartoons last month, including this one!

Tell me, Mr. ugenesfun, how long have you over-empathized with the characters? Do you take everything the characters do personally? Tell me about your childhood.

The Wiki defines "herly berly" as battling. And even if that's false, :coachz: would actually be the 1st homosexual because of the ending to Date Nite.

That's questionable. I've debated this point before, mostly because Coach Z seems to have gender confusion in the first place. i.e. Garage Sale when he thinks he's about to become a mother.

So it's a thought of whether it was just his 'mom mode' again, OR if he's bisexual. I wouldn't say he was 100% homosexual, due to his crush/obsession with Marzipan.

I think the Coach is mostly now just creepy, confused, and in possession of a terribly fried brain due to copious amounts of Listerine intake.

I hope that they make either the
"I Herly Berly on Gerly Werly" Quote or Terrance Love's Song the next Quote of the Week.
I desperately want Terrance love's song on my ipod.

I don't think that I've yet mentioned that this is my favorite e-mail. Not only is it really funny, but it also got me extra credit in my Shakespeare class last semester. (My professor gave out a extra point on the final to people who brought in a Shakespeare reference they found in pop culture. I printed off a picture of "Shakespeare'D!")
