Just got up to date with the email series. Still as good as ever.

But on a spookier note, just found a copy of Tim Allen's book Don't Stand Too Close To A Naked Man and on page 29 was the man himself writing about "Ollie Oxen Free!", Kick the Can and Capture the Flag.

Must be more than coincidence, surely? ;)

I've got too many favorite lines for this one...

"I'm sure you can just stand somewhere & Noone can find you right"
"Hey man, Noone can find me wrong if she's good looking enough."

"Hey The Squeek. I'm hea to make all you' dweams come twue......What about 15 cents? I'm here to make 15 cents come twue."

"Aah! What are you doing here?!"
"Wemembel last spwing, when you asked if I wanted to pway hide & seek?"
"But I've taken at LEAST 3 baths since then...."
"Oh...I've been in hele....."
"DAH!!"
(The illusion scene with leodarded Strong Sad was quite similar, as was Homestar's Daisy Dukes scene. I smell a running gag, but where did it start?)

Marshmallows + Melonade + powdered wig = parlament.

"Wow! Did you make a hiding spot out of you hiding out in your usual hiding spot, to hide behind?"
"I STAYED UP ALL NIIIIIIGHT!"

"Shut your mouth, wimpcake!....Go sit on a biscuit!"

Loved it. The only slight thing that I don't like about it was the number of times mentioned of how Homestar plays the game for ridiculously long periods of time. (Three times at least.) But, eh, that didn't ruin the email.

Not a bad e-mail in my opinion. I liked Strong Mad's "hiding spot" and Marzipan's "Oxen Free" signs, as well as the Strong Sad trap. Though whe Homestar said he was in the bathtub when Strong Bad was there gave me the jibblies... :eekdance:

It was pretty good... not great, though.

The best part was Homestar finally revealing his hiding place in the tub. How in the world did Strong Bad not notice another being in the tub with him as he bathed?
