We're on the verge of election day here in America, and I thought I would run an idea past anyone who stumbles upon it here in the polls - What if TBC set up a 'toon for next week, showing Strong Bad and Homestar's campaigns for the email office? Homestar could run for Free Party USA and Strong Bad could run for [a party name I didn't have the time or creativity to come up with, suggest something, please] to compete for the role of the email show on the website. At the end of the 'toon would be an email address to send your vote, and the winner would get the email show. This would be a great way for the Chapman Brothers to get out of the mess they got themselves into with sbemail 200 (despite the state of awesomeness the sbemail possessed). |

I'm pretty sure that, as a rule, the TBC don't joke about politics. |

For a bit of spice in our lives, I'd vote for Homestar as SB has had many years of good service, but, mabye, its time for a change... |

And, while I'm sure TBC casually browse this forum (and other Homestar forums) on occasion, I doubt they scour every post of every thread, so there's a strong to quite strong chance they'll never see the suggestion here. |

But I really doubt that TBC would have thought of dressing up the Poopsmith as Dr. Zoidberg without reading this forum. I'm gonna add a question to HRWiki:Questions asking if they ever get their ideas for Halloween costumes from the forum. |

Well, like I say, they may see some threads (and Halloween is a pretty big deal, so I wouldn't be surprised if they read the Halloween threads; that's a good question to ask them). Surely not all threads, though. |

If they actually do read this thread, I'll doubt it'll be by Election Day. |

I wonder if it's possible for their election toon to parody the last-minute title change of You're Elected, Charlie Brown to You're ^Not Elected, Charlie Brown. |

The only problem is, they wouldn't know who the winner is yet. I s'pose it could be You're Elected, Homsar ^ Not |

*sigh* This probably won't happen anymore. It was a nice thought, though. If it does still happen, it wouldn't be as cool as it would be if it had happened on election day. |
