I don't much care if TBC keep on making SBemails or not. The only things I'd really miss are
1) Strong Bad's email songs and
2) the blatant ripping on the fans (although this toon brings that to a whole new level).

So long as the toons retain the level of awesomeness that TBC have always shown, I don't consider it a big deal. Just keep that snarky wagglehead making up little songs.

I don't know...to me this seemed a little too far from "lovingly poking fun at the fans" and a little too close to "being mean to the fans"....I suppose they have a right to respond this way though since a lot of the people on this forum say very mean things about them.

Honestly I think TBC should just stop reacting to what the fans have to say, and just make whatever toons they want. This kind of thing almost makes me lose a bit of respect for them.

.........Even though I do understand that it's just an April Fool's Day joke. :P

Well, yesterday was definitely an April Fools' joke, and Monday was the setup for it. It remains to be seen whether they're gonna go any further with it. I think it's a funny concept and wouldn't mind a couple.

I think it lampoons even more than this website. Anyone who's a fan of the BBC version of "Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares" knows that a "re-visited" episode is basically a sbemailerized version of a previous episode, with 4-5 minutes of new footage slapped on at the end.

Do you suppose they've got a better video camera that can embed larger videos in Flash? 'Cause they used to use smaller screens for live action bits (e.g. Limozeen's congrats on emails 100 and 200).

That's possible, but I think it's more likely that they just have a better version of flash now, and that most peoples' flash player has been upgraded a few times since sbemail 100, making it able to handle higher quality video.

This thing still makes me laugh. Somehow, Strong Bad's over-enthusiasm for such a bizarre and stupid concept is endlessly hilarious to me. Only deep within the HSR universe could a phrase like, "Yeah, yeah, no, yeah!" be so funny, and make so much sense.
