I believe it was "the bet" when I was first aware.

A friend of mine told me to go there and "...just click on stuff". Didn't work very well- I didn't know where the heck to go, tried Toons, and saw Where's The Cheat which was meh. I didn't know where the SB Emails were. It was a couple months later hanging out with some others who were watching Japanese Cartoon- the first one I ever saw- that I got hooked, cause we laughed our rear ends off.
From this experience, as well as many others, I've learned that on the whole, people are usually pretty bad at introducing stuff, so I put a lot of effort into a good introduction, which includes Homestar Runner stuff- I suggest the toons that are likely to appeal universally with no inside jokes to watch first. Like "credit card"; everybody gets that.
