Awesome! Just what I was looking for! You rock mynameisbill!

I was rather surprised that TBC didn't offer an MP3 of the song at the end of the e-mail like they usualy do.

This one is great. My favorite line for some reason was "tonight equals dancing, yeah!" That made me laugh big time.

I was only a tad disappointed, though, because the "song" wasn't very musical (i.e. I wouldn't want to just listen to it). But that wasn't the point, so hey.

9.4/10

Well since no ones said it yet, am I the only one who understands the concept of a rock opera. Since an opera is a play where every line is sung, a rock opera would be a play where every line is sung to rock music. Still a pretty good email though. I was expecting a real rock opera though

it's only stealing if the real way to get it is to pay money. even if it is on CD, i say, if i can play it anytime i want, opposed to radio, i might as well download it.

Sadly, a court of law would not agree with you.

If it's under copyright, any d/l of it is tecnically illegal unless you have permission to receive the file.

Jethro Tull rocks, go see my poll, I could probably add that on there too, man I'm guessing the Brothers would probably know every single one of those.

There are programs which can extract audio from .swf files. I can't for the life of me think which one I have now, but you can probably find them on http://www.download.com with a bit of judicious searching

That's called SPAM! And Spam is breaking the forum rules. Please try not to. You can just edit your post if you want to make a comment like that. In fact you could say that about your post above that too. Since it does not really contribute to the conversation.

If you are not going to talk about the email, DO NOT POST in this thread. You are only cluttering up the topic.

In my personal opinion, Rock Opera is among Strong Bad's least funny e-mails. Certainly the least funny of the Lappy era. Perhaps if you threw in the Compys, it would still be the least funny. There are probably some less funny Tandys.
The amount of work put into it doesn't matter to me. If I don't laugh, I don't laugh. The concept was a random, lame idea(pure randomness belongs to Homsar and Homsar alone) and had no surprises to save it.
