Who's to assume Strong Mad made it? After all, it's been in that closet since the Brothers Strong were little, and little Strong Mad wouldn't really be doing that sort of thing.

Maybe it possessed him to paint it! That would be a funny toon, Strong Mad possessed. Or any H*R character possessed. Besides the Poopsmith. I doubt that would deviate from the norm.

Buttdance Again was probably a reference to Chubby Checker's Twist Again. Very funny I thought it was too. :D

Good prize for email servicing and doughnuts

Well, he did a buttdance in his character video

And shyguy, please don't just post a quote. It does not contribute to the conversation.

Hmm, all of a sudden I realize, that painting is way beyond the capabilities of Strong Mad. Seriously, he tries to draw a dragon and instead writes "DAGRON" with a knife on the table. A surprisingly sophisticated painting for someone with the IQ just beyond that of a rock. :sm:

Uhhh... he probably BOUGHT the painting, TimTheTinyBrained.

No, that wasn't called for. Yes, this phone is connected.

Please stop doing that Einoo. Insults are not a way to get you liked.

Anyway, the sbemail is still good. One of my favorites of all time.

Its a combination of the voice and the way it talks, Marshie was more creepy than normal in this. They give me the jibblies.

I actually thought Marshie was a little funny in this. He's a tad funny all the time.

"GET OUTTA HERE, YOU LITTLE RUNT!"

And one of my favorites, "Awwww, SNAP!"

I liked marshie more in this, but that pose he was in while nibbles was in control was really creepy. He does get props for shooing away nibbles, though. It didn't bother me that much, though. The other 8 of the bottom 10 were good.

Except if you're in the Comeback Game.

But we're not in that game, are we? MWUHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA- Oh. Excuse me. *ahem* Yeah. So... I won't, um, do it again. Yeah. Besides, anyone well-versed in SCIENCE AGAIN! I SAID SCIENCE AGAIN! knows that brain size has little if any bearing on actual intelligence. Anyway... Overall, this email didn't make me want to throw a full wine bottle at my computer screen.

Heh...

Quote:
MARSHIE: {Flies onto the screen and knocks Nibbles away.} Get out of here, you little runt! {Makes the same angry face as before. The commercial suddenly pauses, and PAUSE appears on the bottom-left corner of the screen.}

I've never really seen Marshie mad before.

He probably doesn't want anyone else to steal the show.

Is "bottom ten" some weightlifting term? That's what I thought when he first read the email, and that the whole rest of the email was a pun.

I think this is the best email since long pants
It's just so unexpected for SB to talk about easter eggs in the email. Very original

10/10

I thought bottom ten was in reference to the sbemails, and that the email was making fun of the email "judging" that occurs on this forum. He even said "This email is making fun of you" as the email song at the beginning.

Simply incredible. The painting in the closet (or any scary thing as a child) is something that'll always stick in my mind. Great job for the brothers!

This is my new favorite. 10/10.

Welcome to the forum (thought this is your eighth post, so you've probably heard that a lot already) Also, please don't bring up topics from past the first, occasionally 2nd page of the forum.

Y'know it's already a semi-old e-mail but I love this one more and more. I play it at least a couple times a week just for a chuckle. Its my new "intro to Homestar and Strong Bad" thing, its funny on its own and doesn't really require much previous knowledge. Other than "What's a the Cheat?" "oh that's Strong Bad's little buddy." "Oh. okay."

Bottom 10... new classic, right up there with Trogdor and Japanese Cartoon

Sorry. I saw it for the first time a few days ago, and I checked out the HRwiki forum link and made a post. I was unable to see any of the new cartoons for the whole summer.

He had something to add, so there's nothing wrong with that. It's not one of those "BUMP" posts.

The site only gets updated once a week, and even then that's only one new topic. It's not like something that can be constantly updated with new things every few hours. I see no harm in an older topic being bumped up. Is sure better than the polls that keep cropping up asking questions that have been re-hashes a lot.

As for Bottom 10, I loved it. It combined a lot of my favorite elements into one Super-SBEmail:

1) The hesitation of SB not being sure what he's going to say (Um... not... pigeons).

2) Something creepy (Marshie AND the painting. Two-fer!).

3) Total interruption and redirection by Homestar.
