I thought it was great. Classic e-mail material. I wish all e-mails were like that. It would have been perfect had it not been for the few, lame easter eggs.

It was good, but there weren't enough eggs.

I thought it was kinda bad. Kinda REALLY bad. It's true; too much Homsar is not a good thing. The only parts I laughed at were the parts at the computer, the actual shows were just too creepy. It is a pretty accurate rendition of kids' shows, though.

I agree with the Homsar part being pretty lame. I was sick of Stave-it-off Man after the first time hearing it. But I laughed pretty hard a few times at Strong Bad. HELD BACK. LOW STANDARDIZED TEST SCORES.

Duders, this doesn't belong in this topic. If you need help with something, first read the FAQ, and then once you've exhausted all other possibilities (like figuring it out yourself), you can post a question in the HelpDesk forum.

I hated it, it was not funny at all. Come on! It was just dumb and I love homsar. I feel ashamed for him.

Why do people seem to place so much significance in whether or not there are a lot of Easter eggs? I'd rather have an excellent e-mail with no eggs than a crappy one with thirteen.

Actually, this is some awful irony: while I've always vehemently insisted this, I actually really enjoyed Homsar's role in this episode. I think it was nice to see him in a new role, where he's actually good for something. Actually, I think the main reason why I loved him in this e-mail was because the joke wasn't entirely down to saying random, stupid things.

You should try watching Teletubbies some time. The middle segment, which involves the 'Tubbies looking into their stomachs and observing children in the "real world", is invariably repeated, against all common sense. In fact, there's nary a part of the show which isn't repeated in some way. This is probably a trait in a lot of the very young kids' TV shows, but Teletubbies is a good example.

In any case, I think they got the Stave it Off song just right: they played it just enough for it to start to get annoying, then cut back to the Compy (before, no doubt, it was replayed forty-eight more times). In a normal such kids' show, it wouldn't stop until long after it had got irritating. And that's part of the purpose of this e-mail: to expose kids' TV shows for what they really are.

Okay, I think I rambled on a bit there. Never mind.

Must you belittle everyone's opinion?
If it were a good email, I wouldn't have cared, but since it wasn't that good, the eggs make a difference.(IMHO)

I'm not belittling people's opinions. It's called having a discussion, which is, in fact, the purpose of a forum.

Well, then it's not really the eggs that are the problem then, is it?

Score: 9.99/10. Friggin hilarious. I literally had tears running down my face when Strong Bad lost it. "Alright, dumb children! Find a'Da Cheat!...No, he's behind the box...look, he's barely obscured by the box...look, THE CHEAT IS BEHIND THE FRIGGIN BOX! I'LL KILL YA! I'LL KILL ALL OF YOUR DOGS!! Strong Bad failing miserably at Peasents Quest was pretty funny, too. The reason it wasn't 10/10 was Homsar making sense was kind of disappointing. The scary bit, though? 'Whaddaya Know, Haddi-man' is eerily similar to many shows out there, to the point of copying.

My thoughts exactly. THE CHEAT IS BEHIND THE FRIGGIN BOX!

"Can you say: 'A'da Cheat'?"

I think that was funny with his smile and all.

The first part of the toon was freakin' hilarious. But the part with Homsar was disappointing. It seemed he wasn't random enough. TBC should have really went to town with some Homsarisms, really mess with the kids' minds and stuff.

I think the show's they were making fun of were...

1.Blue's Clues (Talking invisible children)
2. Sesame Street (Letters in every episode)
3. Teletubees(sp?) (Repeating just about everything)

And maybe a few more I can't name right now...

I loved this one. From what I've been forced to endure of kid's shows, I'd say this is a pretty good parody. Strong Bad was right, Homsar Is a natural for that sort of thing. Here's what I would look like If I had to sit through all of that crap:
:eekdance: , only with one eye.

no, no, no! are you people doing an impression of Homestar? It's a figure of speach! I meant, "What do you mean, 'I'm anal'?" and it better not mean what i think it means, or i'm gonna puke.

Anal: short for Anal-retentive.

Just read the definition. There's no need to further comments on this word. And now, back to the topic...
