I tried putting this up in the easter eggs for the '50 emails' email, because i noticed that this wasnt mentioned at all, and that it didnt stay on there cause i didnt know how to become a member back then. Anyway, i just wanted to say that my theory of why Homestar ruined Strong Bad's Compy wasn't because he couldn't spell deleted right. Because in the 'anything' email, Homestar misspelled sb_email.exe and still was able to get to Strong Bad's Email. I think that the problem was that he wasn't using the right word to delete the e-mail. If you notice earlier in the email, when Strong Bad got the fat=phat email, He said, "Matt equals MATT!," While typing Matt Eqauls Deleted, and i think that changed the word to delete an email from Deleted to Matt. If anyone has any thoughts to add, let me know.

I don't think typing Matt = DELETED! would change the function of the word deleted. I mean, he's just typing in his email program. I think Homestar screwed up the computer because he overloaded it.

Well FishFight, the reason your idea was taken off the wiki was because ti's only speculation. It's an interesting idea, but I don't think TBC were thinking about that. It's just a joke.

Yeah, some people need to stop taking some things on Homestar too seriously. It's just a gag site! If TBC, for some reason, someday reveal the reason behind this (which I find unlikely) it will also be a joke! Take everything as it comes, and don't think too much, Fighting Fish!

seeing as i have a lot of time on my hands most of the time, i dont mind thinking about h*r, and i somewhat agree that SB just typing Matt=deleted, but if you notce in the email, when the email got deleted, the screen said matt instead of deleted. Also, can any of you guys read, cause obviously some of you cant read my name too good. My name's Fishfight, not the many things you called me on mistake. :trogdor:

If we're going to pick nits over stuff like this, I'd like to point out that why would Strong Bad answer an e-mail by typing stuff on the screen (we do that in answering real e-mail of course, but we actually send the e-mail afterward), how can the computer distinguish between a command and e-mail text, how did the Tandy know how to forward the e-mail to Homestar in "credit card", etc.? Let's face it, Strong Bad's computer isn't supposed to make sense from a technical standpoint. :P

First off, Most of you guys don't realize that FishFight's name is from one of the CheatComandos. In case you cared, second of all, let's remember the most important thing of all, it's a cartoon, it doesn't have to make sense. Just sit back and enjoy it.

Interesting idea. And there's no way to tell for sure, homestarrunner.com being filled with random things that don't make much sense.

P.S.: My favorite was Gunhaver. :p

I'm pretty sure it was "flashfight" not "fishfight." But then again I'm tired and I don't feel like watching the cartoon at the moment.
