This was a good one. The Easter Eggs were good. I like the single-celled part.

Not one of the best. I dunno, it just kinda flopped.

I enjoyed baby Coach Z, despite inconsistancies with the fact that Coach Z is older than the Brothers Strong. I just can't resist that Coach Z babble!

What were they doing for the past month, anyway?

working on that email! dont you know how long it takes to construct one? it takes way more cardboard egg cartons and sticky back plastic to make than you might think, the parameciums were actulay matt with tinfoil glued all over him

I don't think inconsistencies really matter at all in this E-mail, considering it was all SB's imagination being obviously not very believable (the Caper easter egg alone should give that away). I mean, paramaeciums? :p

Oh man, that is so totally an instant classic. I liked everything. Especially the Coach and the Homestarmecium duplicating himself over and over again.

Is it me, or is one of the Homestarimecium's little organelles actually strong sad's severed head?

Got it working. I'm not sure I like the way they "Know" they're cartoon characters. That's been done in everything from animaniacs to Bob and George and I kind of prefered it when they were just "Real life" characters being filmed.

I must say, this was a good one. I deffinetly don't think it was worth the wait (I hoped TBC were working something big, like Stinkoman lvl 10) but it was deffinetly a good one. It seemed kind of odd that SB was aware of his cartoon-ness, but wierder things have happened on the site.

Overall, I've have to give it an 8.5/10 Ding!

You can edit you're username actually. I did a couple months ago.

AWWW!

That was a fabulous email. I wanted to see babies, I got babies. And they're dang cyoot. They should make toys of those. Although, they probably won't ever use the idea again.

They'll forget it soon enough. It's not the first fourth wall break (Real Live e-mails, Chaps tells Strong BAd he created him, etc.), and it won't be the last, but it was kind of necessary for the e-mail. It also contradicted flashback somewhat. The e-mails don't quite have a continuity yet. So you can safely retcon it away.

Totally true. Somehow I don't think the H*R world really ever will have continuity - I think the stories about how objects, characters and various places originated within that world are supposed to be ridiculous and contradictory, and it's only up to the viewer to speculate on what really happened. I think this E-mail is just as much, if not more, pure SB-created fiction as flashback was, and I think the characters only 'know' they're cartoons within that SB fantasy.

This is my favorite one in a very, very long time. Virus Strong Bad (Strongbadiophage) is awesome; I always loved the drawings of that kind of virus in biology textbooks in like middle school.

Meh. I don't think this was anything specatular. Maybe I was expecting too much but with no update for over 30 days, I thought we'd get a killer email with new stuff in other sections, ie: Marzipan Answering Machine, Teen Girl Squad, Toons, etc.

After this long of a wait, I expected waaaaay more. However, I was desperate for any new content.

Since I don't feel like going on a large rant, I'll just recap my favorite moments:

- Baby Homestar characters
- Strong Bad, Homestar, and Bubs in micro-organism form
- "Rear-end cream"
- Strongbadiophage freakin' out

3.5/5

This email was hilarious. I loved all of it. Homestar was really funny. I loved his "highschool" voice. I liked it especially when they were going to remove him of his long pants. The babies were awesome. Anyway, this is one I'm gonna have to watch over again a few times.

The "Old Timey Romans" Easter Egg may be a reference to The Roman Holidays, a Hanna Barbera animated sitcom from the 1970s. Like "The Flintstones" and "The Jetsons" it was the basic "people in another time period" premise.

Why don't you add that to the Wiki under real world references?

Post subject:  Hmm.

A friend of mine (Duct Tape Patrol here) commented today that this may just be a quickie to make sure the fans are still there... he basically said something along the lines of TBC throwing out a bone for us.

I believe his exact words were "they're throwin' something out to like, the mob of fans with torches and pitchforks outside their door... they just gave 'em something small, y'know, like made out of post-its."

...

So. Maybe something even better is coming along? We waited more than a month for this, you know.

I totally agree with That TinyCowboy over there. I watched this email quickly in the library at school, and I could help but laugh out really loud. I think the reason why DTP thought they just "threw us a bone" was because it didn't really have the same style as some of the other emails... but I thought this was definitely one of my favorite emails ever.

I loved this one.

Favorite parts:
HOMESTAR RUNNER: I don't want to take any chances. We should play in a band, just to be safe.
{singing} Having fun with my friends. Words about a mystery. Shaking hands with my man.

HOMESTAR RUNNER: These are for my twin brother! {divides} These are for my twin brother! {divides} These are for my twin brother! {divides} These are for my twin brother!

I don't know if it was worth the wait, but it was definitely a good one.
10/10
