He's making quite a comeback. ok, at OMS, you spend half the year in technology, the other half in home and careers. in technology,theres a class devoted to computers, another to photography, one to woodshop, and one to like... technical drawing. Jay (i beleive) worked in woodshop in home and carrers you had a "food and nutrition" class, a sewing class, a careers class/child devolopement, and a in 7th grade you went to a writing/reading class, and in 8th it was character ed. you spend five weeks in each class, rotating, (like oyu would go from computers to photography, etc) and then when the 2nd quarter was done, you switched. if you were in tech, you go to H&C. in highschool, you dont have to take a tech class if you dont want to. |

I was rather fond of walkman's and flashlights being the wireless future =P Especially since we clearly have discmans and iPods now! Tee-hee. I remember when walkmans came out. They were like 90 bucks o_o; |

okay, so i didn't gluey some 3.5 disks togfether, but i was thionking that when i needed that informatioyn on my computer.but i did find some old disskettes on the side of the road. uanlabeled, but no top secret information, just some old gamrs ,lime Bass fishing tour, and Games for windows 3.0. i thought it began at 3.1. EDIT: excuse my spelling, i was practising touch typing. |

For some reason, the floating Homestar gave me the uncontrollable giggles. Strong Bad scared me for a minute with the "technology in my pants" comment. It was just OK for me, though. |

Ever notice that Pom-Pom doesn't hang with Homestar much anymore. He sure is forgiving about the "let's see if he'll pop & or explode" thing. Would it have been funnier if he'd taken a pair of scissors & cut the disk round rather than fold it? I tried to fold one of those things back in grade school. This one is full of funny quotes. Hey all, I know I'm necrobumping here, and I'm new, but I was wondering... Has anybody made a replication of Strong Bad's screen saver(screen_savior.exe, aka The catacombs) that I can use on my Windows 7 computer? That would rock, thanks. If not, how hard would it be? Couldn't you just capture it from the sbemail itself, crop out the back of SB's head, replace the spot where it should be, enlarge it, and somehow turn it into a screensaver? |

The screen saver SB uses is based off the old Windows 98 (Or was it 95?) screen saver. Back when people had those big monitors that could literally burn if it was at a still image for too long, hence the name "Screensaver." There are a variety of ways to make that scene into a screen saver; You can decompile the 'toon just to the part where the screensaver plays then just extract that from the toon. Turn it into a gif and see if Windows 7 accepts gifs. May have to get a program that changes gifs to screensavers. I never did this before so it might not work that well. This is the easiest way I know but it it doesn't work I'll give you another way to try. |
