I just watched e-mail 149, and I dare someone to make a SBLOUNSKCHED! Bar pants thing. If you do, take a picture and tell us how you made it.

Oh, and if this belongs in Arts & Crafts, please move it.

EDIT: It doesn't have to be in pants form, as that would be prooty hard. Stick with the log shape. Also, the little bowls of puffed rice ceareal can be replaced puffed rice its self.

I bet it would be pretty good except the pepperoni.

I think I'm gonna try and pull this off on Friday. Can someone post the "recipe"?

Let me know how you pull off the marshmallow vapor. And the licorice. And pretty much everything but the nougat and chocolate.

'Cause most of that other stuff doesn't seem physically possible.

you don't need a vapor, just a marshmallow log, and melt some liquorish(sp) and the rest is easy! i would love to make a SBLOUNSKCHED! bar, so i could say you got SBLOUNSKCHED! whenever i get into a situation, hard to get out of.

Here's my theorized recipie for a SBLOUNSKCHED! bar:

1. Take some marshmallows. Melt them.

2. Stir small bits of licorice in with the melted marshmallows. (I don't like licorice, though, so I'd probably skip this step/substitue Red Vines or something similar.)

3. I have no idea what "nougat" is, really. But I suppose you could add it in with the marshmallows and licorice.

4. Stir in some puffed rice as well, like if you were making a Rice Krispy treat.

5. Spread the marshmallow-licorice-nougat-rice confection on top of a chocolate chip cookie. Top with another cookie.

6. Skip the pepperoni in the interest of making something edible. But I suppose if you REALLY felt daring, you could add a slice...

7. Dunk the whole think in melted chocolate, like in a fondue pot or something.

Tada! CyTeen's Very Own Just Like Poopaw Used To Make SBLOUNSKCHED! recipie!

That recipe does seem possible, but I'm not sure where you can get straight nougat. Maybe a specialty shop or something. Isn't nougat the kind of candy that health-food freaks like?

Or maybe it's possible to make nougat from scratch. I'll have to check.

Maybe one weekend when I'm not so busy with midterms I'll try cooking this ugly thing.

I honestly don't think it'd be very tasty, though.

I have just created what I call the ghetto SBLOUNSKCHED! bar. This is because I substituted all but one ingredent.

STEPS TO MAKING A Ghetto SBLOUNSKCHED! bar:

1: Instead of marsmellows use bread. They have about the same flavour.

Chunk it into squares and your set.

2: Drizzle in maple syrup to simulate licorice.

3:Use vannilla puuding on top of those.

4: Put into a nutragrain bar.

5: Top with hot salami.

6: Sprikle with crispy rice.

7: Top with chocolate pudding.

Im gonna go try it. Ill be back to tell ya how it goes.

How about plain white rice?

One of these would be great if the licorice were dark chocolate and the pepperonni was peanut butter or carmel.

You could just dip mini marshmallows in chocolate and elt it dry then mix it with nougot, roll out some cookie dough and bake it, put it inside, add some crispy rice and peanut butter or carmel, and then dip in chocolate and let dry

That would be extraordinaire!

Oh WOW! That's a recipe for REAL European nougat! Too bad I don't have a double broiler.

Although there is the 'cheapy' nougat as opposed to the 'real' European nougat (which the quoted recipe seems to be). Cheap nougat is the stuff you find in Snickers and Three Musketeers bars. This I learned from Wikipedia's article.

I wonder which nougat TBC meant. Knowing Strong Bad, probably the latter.

put in grinded spinnnich
add some rice krispy cearial
stir
get any kind of hardend cocolite
put peronie on it
dip chocolite in mix
add baking chocolite(wich is very bitter)
wait 1 hour
pull out chocolite
cover w/ creamy melted chocolite.

Ah! so THAT'S what nougat is! Mmm... looks yummy. Now I want some marzipan, thanks to all the nuts in that stuff. (The almond paste... get those thoughts out of your head!)

You guys are all crazy!
You could try sending in the bar to a chocolate company and see if they make it.

I think I can make a SBLOUNKCHED bar.Although it's the piece of crap shape

All I need to do is:
Instead of this marshmellow stuff. I'll use some malteasers.
Instead of nougat. Cream would be nice.
crisity cookity log could be a hollowed out swiss roll bar.(but with one side closed and one side half open.(but with any chocolate chips I can find)
Top with rich creamy....Ham.(better than pepperoni)
use rice kirspies with a small amount of milk.
then. Melt some galaxy chocolate and pour that one.
Then, for extra. Add crumbs from a ripple bar.
If I can make it, I'll tell you what it tasted like and take a picture of it.

Yeah, but.
One. I can't make nougat
two: I don't have any pepperoni
three: I'm not sure how to make a crispity cookity log.
four: I like to add things on to things.

I would suggest using the pepperoni in those pizza "lunchables". Those would work best.

I'm sure there's still some reamnants of it in there. I, in interest of having taste buds when I'm 64, am not going to make this. But I might try a more general version. But just one question to the daring ones: any plans on how to hold all this drippy stuff together?

I'm still curious what it tastes like pepperoni-and-all.

My theory would be making it in like a muffin tin or something. That's what my sister did when she made her experimental candy bar, and it worked fairly well. It just had to be refridgerated so it would set.

A double boiler is just two pots with water in them. You just put the smaller pot in the larger pot and the water in the larger pot boils around the smaller pot. It's pretty easy.
