Did anyone else notice the broke back mountain similarities? The music... innermost desires... desire man... western scene... I’m surprised that wasn’t in the wiki.

Edit: WHooppss. that was supposed to be a reply not a new post.

What? Hajja? Chickedaboop?! What? What are you talking about? That's just...oh wait, he's talking about that E-Mail 150!?! thing. I was getting kind of scared there.

TRUST ME, I haven't seen it either. But I've seen enough brokeback parodies to spot one when I see one (all over video sites).

Sorry about the new thread, i thought i had clicked reply, not new topic. School will do that to you, its all a conspiracy to erase our minds.

I like how you're all so adamant about saying you didn't see Brokeback. Like if you did people would automatically think you were gay. It's an incredible movie, I've seen in twice so far, you guys need to grow up.

That said, I didn't really think it was a brokeback parody. I heavily doubt TBC would touch on anything that taboo.

Yeah, there's never been any homosexual innuendo in an SBemail before, right, Brianrietta? ;)

Uhm... while I think another Brokeback Mountain parody using Homestar scenes would be pretty fuuny, I'm not noticing any of the similarities - I don't even remember a western scene in it. Or "innermost desires".

My theories on this topic:

A) It's from the future, referring to e-mail #176, where Strong Ba'ds innermost desires are revealed and he ends up in the Old West

B) This guy is wack. And just regular type, to boot.

TBC Don't parody recent pop culture or current events (or was it they just don't answer e-mails like that?), so I don't think they would do that.

Okay, okay, there was that one. But I don't think TBC would do something like a real BBM-style homosexual romance, Brianrietta was more a playful joke than anything.

Strong Bad, I wish I could quit you....

No wait, that gives me the jibblies.

But Homestar did once fall for SB. Dressed as the Cheat. In SB's fantasy. Which was ... disturbing.

ohh boy.... no, no reference, now adays, if anything has a western scene in it, it is automatically a Brokeback mountain reference.
