I did a search for a thread discussing this earlier, but didn't find one.

In Strong Bad's website at the end, has the last picture always been blank? Or has it been broken somehow?

What, the one with The Cheat with long hair? It's always been like that. It was supposed to be.

The last picture is actually the one with The Cheat sleeping, by the way.

Thanks for the answers, guys.

Ah, good times, good times.

When I saw this, I had been doing web design 5 or 6 years. Although my first website was almost (though not quite) as bad as SB's, I had gotten to a point where I felt I could make a good site without a lot of work. That's all background for this next story, though. My last semester of college, I took a dumb class from the business department where the final project was making a website. It was an easy A, but the requirements for that final website were terrible and very easy. This was about the time that this email came out, and I was inspired. Because of this email, I made this monstrosity and got full points.

I made a crappy geocities site about 6 years ago. Too bad it expired. I really liked that website. Maybe I should make another website. I'll let you know when I have finished my new website.

Sincerely,

lahimatoa

Can you make me a website like that kind sir?

You know, I love this e-mail because I too made a few of those crappy websites. I still have a few going today. But this time I have visitors that aren't myself.

I designed this one. Didn't build it, but made the design and wrote most of the content. (By the way, just to be nice...print out a paper and sign the danged thing while you're there!) =P

Not everything on it works perfectly (the Contact page doesn't actually submit anything) as the guy working with me got really busy with other stuff, but it's serving its purpose well enough. ^_^

I saw lots of crappy petitions (online only and stuff) with equally crappy websites, so I decided if I wanted to have Square remake Chrono Trigger, I better go about it the right way! ^_^

I still remember the crappy little Angelfire page I had like six or seven years ago. XD; Looked a lot like the one in that email, actually, right down to the black background and random unrelated gifs I stole from other sites. :P

I don't really... have a website right now though... just my dA page and my Livejournal and stuff like that.

My first website didn't have any animated gifs on it, but I did have a selection of icon's from The Corporation (original site down, this is from archive.org). I had a few that you can see in the archives, and this one which is broken on that site.

Good times, good times. Looks like crap now, but in '96 with 800x600 resolution, I thought it was pretty sweet. Now it's only sweet in a nostalgic kinda way.

All that reminded me of was early compu-net and netscape days.
Or my Expage I made when I was about 9.
