I don't think it's the Blacksmith. If you listen carefully to the King of Town DVD, the Blacksmith talks in a much different voice (although maybe he took voice lessons :p )

Well, it couldn't have been any of the other characters there, because none of them sound like that.
Unless for some reason, someone was faking the voice?

I strongly doubt it was the Poopsmith. That would just be so... disappointing. To have him break his vow.

No, it was definitely a Mysterious Voice from Nowhere. The Poopsmith shrugged because he had no idea who it was either.

-storm off in huff-

I think It needs no explaining. Later, I'm sure it will be explained to us in an elborate fashion. Maybe the Poopsmith did talk. Maybe he broke his vow and things are going to be changing in the life of the Poopsmith. All we can do now is wait and guess.

Yeah breaking the vow and more talking would be bad to the smiths rep, it may have been a special function of strong sads astro-suit

I think that what we're doing right now is exactly what TBC intended when they did that. IMO, there's no definite yes or no to this. TBC made it purposefully ambiguous so that fans would be trying to guess whether or not he talked. I have the feeling that, if you asked them personally, they wouldn't give you an answer, because there isn't one.

But also, bear in mind that the voice saying "oh yeah" was the same as the one that said "hello" in Different Town.
