This is certainly one of the best Lappy Emails, hands down. It's a huge improvement over Redesign, which I thought was boring and played out.

The best parts: (In no certain order)

* For some reason, I burst out laughing at "Cactus Area".
* Marzys hair.
* The 'ool sign. My Nana has the "No P in it" version, so that made me burst out laughing.
* Coach Z in the barrel.
* The line "I should really stop patching up that hole".

I loved this one. I always like the emails with lots of character interaction (senior prom is another recent goodie), and this one was great. Pretty much everyone but Homsar had a funny moment. Well, I guess Pom Pom missed out somewhat too. They should have had him floating around in the pool. With Coach Z hanging onto him like a floatation device or something. :pom:

Ooh, missed opportunity! That would have been awesome!

I didn't think this one was going to be all that good but I was wrong.

It makes me want to go swimming! Sadly I don't think I'm able to anymore because in recent years I've developed a very unusual allergy to chlorine. If I ever go again, though, I will probably start screaming "Cool Time! Pool Time!" over and over.

My thoughts:

--The Cheat propelling himself about the pool like a motorboat was priceless.
--Poor Poopsmith! I DO want that Nebulon floatie, though.
--Having once been blonde for many years I can relate to Marzi's green hair problem. They DO sell products to get the green out...the frying problem...well, can't help her there...
--Don't get me wrong, I adore Coach Z, Homestar, and the KOT, but I would have LOVED to have seen them get hit by lightning.
--Great Strong Sad moments overall. I particularly loved the easter egg featuring him. I was kind of wondering when the KOT would try that...

I was WAITING for them to make an email like this!

You know what one of the great little things about this e-mail is? The noise Strong Bad and Strong Mad make walking away from Strong Sad. Yup.

10/10 for one reason: H*R, KOT and Coach Z holding lightning rods in the water.

This was a really funny e-mail. Today and tomorrow would be the perfect time for a cool time, pool time. After that, it would be sprinkler time.

I also enjoyed the KOT, Homestar, and Coach Z being lightning rods. But didn't anyone notice that Coach Z had a barrel over him?

Top-knotch SBemail. It seems to twist slighty the "Current Events" guideline, but not break or even bend. It's certainley welcome, though. It was 103 up here in (PBTC SB voice) "The Lodge, Minnesota", and I had a bit of "Cool time, Pool time" yesterday.
Anyway, I quite enjoyed Strong's Sad report and new nickname (Trundle Bed!) Marzi's hair fuse, Strong Bad's explanation of what territories are what in FCUSA ( I had noticed myself a lot of SBemails confusing FC with StrongBadia), and Coach Z's disturbing (as usual) dissapointment with no butt patting.
I also must say that the whole Madonball sequence ( The Total Wave, Strong Bad's descent through the couch patch's little sister, and later Dumbstar's.) features some of the BEST comic timing I have seen in a Sbemail.

Our heat wave broke for a day (only 85), and it's the day the email about heat waves came out. That was pretty odd.
Anyway - I think it was very well done. Especially now that we've discovered another of the Cheat's many talents. 28/30

Man, that was great!

The National Weather Service should SOOOOoooo replace their automated voice on NOAA Weather Radio with Strong Sad. That little bit with the KOT and the whipped cream and cherry was a little creepy, though.

I thought Marzi's glowing/burning hair was funny. Reminds me of a time I tried to bleach my hair (well, ok, so my cousin was bleaching hers and talked me into letting her bleach mine). I jumped in the pool a little later that day and poof!, my hair went lime green (or close to it).

I found the cheat's little motorboat thing really cute for some reason. Wait, I didn't just say cute. I said manly, like a big ol' bass boat racing in the... boat... cup... race... thing.
Umm
*Points*
What's that?!?

Ahh! I loved this. Of course, it's about -bazillion celcius where I live at the current moment (bit of an overstatement, yes, but damn my house is freezing) so I can't relate, but I'll be sure to watch this in the summertime.

I loved Homestar coming through the roof, as well as the obligatory sphere!Graw Mad. The explanatory Strong Bad adressing the viewers at the start of the email gave me a shock, though. Plus I once accidentally set my hair on fire, so I can almost relate to poor Marzipan. ;P Don't think my hair's ever been green, though..

All in all, a solid email.
Good prize.

*ding!*

That was a good one. I liked the Cheat and his little motorboat thing, that was sweet. And a round Strong Mad. Don't know he managed that.
All and all good email. 7.5/10

What a fancy-good e-mail. I dug it. Only now realized there was a new one.

Cactus Area: Funniest thing all day.

(Granted it's only 1:30 AM and the day has much more in store, but I doubt that anything will be funny. At all.)

THAT. WAS. AWESOME. Strong Sad's knowledge of everything was hilarious, and though it wasn't meant to be really funny, at the end in the easter egg, when Strong Sad says the baseball games, he studders. And I crack up

A little late, but for anyone still wondering whether Strong Bad ever actually called Homestar "Dumbstar," yes, he did.

The wiki wrote:
STRONG BAD: {narrating} So, Dumbstar has me meet him in this fruity little marshmallow stand he always goes to. He kept me waiting for a good half hour and I actually watched him walk by the place three or four times before he finally came in.

As for "Dumpstar," I think that's a mishearing of "Dumbstar."

As for the email itself, I wasn't too impressed. Sure, there were funny moments, but overall it wasn't great. Whoever gave it a 6.5/10 was almost right.

It just didn't click.

Although, the lightning part was pretty funny.

Things I liked about this email:

things I didn't like:

definitely among my top 150

I'll bet if Marzipan's hair-fuse ever burnt down all the way, the cheat's head would explode.

This is the first sbemail that actually had me laughing out loud (at work, no less!) so I was hugely impressed. Bonus points for Round Mad.

EDIT: I'd actually enjoy seeing, maybe as an Easter Egg somewhere: Round Mad in Cubeland!

Strong Mad turning into a sphere.

The Cheat as some sort of motorized watercraft.

The frickin' zinc on Strong Bad's nose.

All golden.

My favorite part? The part where :sm: canaonballs into the pool and then he enters it without making a spalsh... wait for it... wait for it... only to have the entire pool erupt in a massive wave that engulfs everything seconds later.

Pure brilliance, TBC.

I give it six and a half thumbs up.

This one was pretty funny.

"We carefully place a spoonful of hoisin sauce on Strong Sad's disturbing soft-serve flip. And then we just... ask him."

I liked the lightning rod part too, but I always thought Strong Bad kinda didn't hate Coach Z. At least, they've been known to go on lyrical rampages together.
