I've seen this game before on many forums.

So, here's how it works:
1. Open your library (iTunes, Winamp, Media Player, iPod, etc)
2. Put it on shuffle
3. Press play
4. For every question, type the song that's playing
5. When you go to a new question, press the next button
6. Don't lie T_T
7. Feel free to play more than once

Here's the form you must use:

Opening Credits:

Waking Up:

First Day At School:

Falling In Love:

Fight Song:

Breaking Up:

Prom/Dance:

Life's OK:

Mental Breakdown:

Driving:

Flashback:

Getting Back Together:

Birth of Child:

Wedding:

Final Battle:

Death Scene:

Funeral Song:

End Credits:

It's really fun! Here's mine: (Commentary in bracets)

Opening Credits: Rebel, Rebel by David Bowie (Good opening song)

Waking Up: Fly Away by Lenny Kravitz (Another good song to wake up to)

First Day At School: Miss World by Hole (Oh yay, a suicidal day at school  )

Falling In Love: Celebrity Skin by Hole (Nte just because the song is in this catagory doesn't mean it's American Pie <_<)

Fight Song: Shut Your Mouth by Garbage (Great fight song)

Breaking Up: Violet by Hole (Uh-oh, violent break-up!)

Prom/Dance: You Look So Fine by Garbage (Horray for irony)

Life's OK: Plump by Hole (And this makes me feel good how?)

Mental Breakdown: Asking For It by Hole

Driving: A Change Would Do You Good by Sheryl Crow

Flashback: When I Grow Up by Garbage (How ironic)

Getting Back Together: I Think I'm Paranoid by Garbage

Birth of Child: Everyday Is A Winding Road by Sheryl Crow

Wedding: Dog New Tricks by Garbage (Okay, weird)

Final Battle: City Of Angels by The Distillers (Perfect!)

Death Scene: Rock Star by Hole (Weird, again)

Funeral Song: I Think That I Would Die by Hole (Ironic, yet again)

End Credits: Silence Is Golden by Garbage

Oh, I love these ^_^

Opening Credits: Three Dog Night - Out in the Country
Establishing locale, even though I live in the suburbs...

Waking Up: Aoiro 7 - Aoi Sportscar
I'm guessing some guy drives a car into my room, waking me up. Probably the only way to guarantee I'll stay up.

First Day At School: Kingdom Hearts II (Japanese) - Under the Sea
I go to school in the ocean? First I've heard of it... "Subarashii, unda za sea"

Falling In Love: Hoobastank - Without a Fight
Love is a battle! Unrequited love is for losers!

Fight Song: The Cranberries - Dreams
If I actually win the fight, it's definitely just in my dreams. I think this one and the last one got mixed up...

Breaking Up: Jamie DeFrates - The Mighty Boocifer
We broke up because my love died and became a ghost, apparently (and was abducted by Lord Boocifer of Bleakstone Manor).

Prom/Dance: Thumbelina - On the Road
The school hired a mariachi band for the prom?

Life's OK: Lazy Town - Gizmo Guy
As long as I've got my laptop, everything's just dandy ^_^ So true, so true. "A mouse-click away, and life can be so easy!"

Mental Breakdown: Vanessa Williams - Darling, I
I'm going crazy over my love turning into a ghost...

Driving: OMD - If You Leave
Driving after someone who left (my ghostly love?)

Flashback: Ben Folds - Heist
Remembering my childhood in the suburbs, with lots of snacks. Yummy.

Getting Back Together: Jefferson Starship - No Way Out
A good match, actually, since my love turned into a ghost, and that's usually irreversible. But he refuses to believe it, so we have a kind of quandary here.

Birth of Child: Carole King - Really Rosie (reprise)
Truly a great big deal, worthy of drums and toasts *nods* Named my daughter Rosie

Wedding: Tom Lehrer - Poisoning Pigeons in the Park
o.o That's one weird wedding... probably based on the urban legend that throwing rice is bad for birdies. And how come I had the kid before getting married?

Final Battle: Aria the Animation end theme - Rainbow
Most tranquil final battle I ever had. We must have decided to settle our differences over tea or something.

Death Scene: 10cc - I'm Not in Love
As I lay dying (poisoned tea? revenge of the pigeons?), I confess to my husband that I don't really love him, I'm still hung up on my ghost lover.

Funeral Song: Wario Ware Smooth Moves - Tomorrow
Worst funeral song ever. Way too upbeat. Unless... I'm happy because now I can join my ghost lover! That must be it.

End Credits: Digimon - Butter-Fly
Yeah, that sounds like a good end credits song.

Isn't this a bit like the Media Player Fortune thread? Anyway, I couldn't resist making stupid comments.

Opening Credits: Over My Head (Cable Car) - The Fray [It related to me at one point in my life, so... Yay! Opening credits!]

Waking Up: Like You - Evanescence [This song's about someone who apparently buries herself alive to be with her dead boyfriend or something. It's not a good beginnings song.]

First Day At School: Dead! - My Chemical Romance [I'm not exactly sure what this song's about, but I'm pretty sure it involves death. I can't think of a song that relates less to my first day of school, except maybe for the one above.]

Falling In Love: The Beer Song - Weird Al Yankovic [Love = drunkeness...?]

Fight Song: Nobody Likes a Bogan - Area 7 [It's about a stereotypical Australian man. I can sort of see this, actually.]

Breaking Up: Little By Little - Oasis [I don't think this song has anything to do with breaking up, but I guess it sounds a bit depressing.]

Prom/Dance: Unseen University - Discworld Soul Music Soundtrack [A formal with that instrumental would be the best formal ever. The theme this year is stuffy British academic places!]

Life's OK: In the Shadows - The Rasmus [Aw, I wanted Strongsad Rocks Out. The guy in the song sounds a bit obsessed and not at all like he thinks life's okay.]

Mental Breakdown: Not The Girl You Think You Are - Crowded House [I don't know, it sounds like a pretty sedate song to me.]

Driving: Because It's Midnite - Strong Bad Sings [Yes!]

Flashback: Sensitive to Bees - Strong Bad Sings (again) [Not unless it's a traumatic stinging-related flashback.]

Getting Back Together: i think i have a chance with this guy - Strong Bad Sings (I am not making this up) [Would anybody use that phrasing to describe their ex?]

Birth of Child: Weight of the World - Evanescence ["If you love me, then let go of me". What exactly does that have to do with childbirth?]

Wedding: Pins and Needles - Billy Talent [It's about a break up. Songs like that usually don't get played as the soundtrack to a wedding.]

Final Battle: Lonely Day - Phantom Planet [Way too subdued for battle music.]

Death Scene: Chrono Trigger A World Awaits Chrono OC Remix - J:/Drive [Yes, because it's not as though it's a remix of music that plays at the [i]start of the game or anything... Actually, it is.][/i]

Funeral Song: Oxygen - David Franj [Not Brother in a Jar? Anyway, I'm not sure what this song is about, but no song that repeats the word alive that many times should be played a funeral.]

End Credits: Spider - They Might Be Giants [Only for credits that go for less than a minute. And also involve Spiderman.]

I think it's got it backwards.

Opening Credits: Rock Star by Hole (Okay, why am I in Olympia?)

Waking Up: It's A Long Way To The Top (If You Wanna Rock And Roll) by AC/DC (Hahaha, getting ready to skip school)

First Day At School: Silence Is Golden by Garbage (Lol I'm invisible. Time to steal some lunchables)

Falling In Love: Doll Parts by Hole (Crap, i'm with the popular guy?)

Fight Song: I Think I'm Paranoid by Garbage (Hehehehehe)

Breaking Up: Call Me by Blondie (Okay, we broke up, but yet I still want the guy to talk to me? I gotta make up my mind!)

Prom/Dance: Right Between The Eyes by Garbage (*gets to microphone* I'm gonna take crap from any of you guys so don't ruin a freakin' good night for me! Okay? Deal.)

Life's OK: Followed The Waves by Melissa Auf Der Maur (*sings along* I followed the waves to you, I gotta see it through, you'll never have me true.......)

Mental Breakdown: Softer, Softest by Hole (Well thank god a friend is helping me get better in this one)

Driving: Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap by AC/DC (Uh-oh.....)

Flashback: Bad Boyfriend by Garbage (So all along I hated the popular and wanted a rebel? Awesomeeeeeeeeeeeeeee)

Getting Back Together: Sick Of It All by The Distillers (Okay, Jess, stay calm, don't shoot your ex in the face)

Birth of Child: In Bloom by Nirvana (Okay........)

Wedding: T.N.T. by AC/DC (I can live through this)

Final Battle: Queer by Garbage (Hahaha, thank god for mind control)

Death Scene: Dog New Tricks by Garbage (Well this pretty much explains the whole movie)

Funeral Song: Hate Me by The Distillers (Wow, I guess I loved to scream alot)

End Credits: Credit In The Straight World by Hole (I love this song)

Some lyrics may have profanity in them.

Opening Credits: Zanzibar by the Suburban Legends. It's crazy enough, I guess. Can't go wrong with an instrumental.

Waking Up: Super Rad by The Aquabats! This is a good wakin'-up song.

First Day At School: Simple Kind of Life by No Doubt. Kinda depressing for the first day of school.

Falling In Love: This Can't Happen Again by Patent Pending. Ouch. ):

Fight Song: Raven by Kittie. Well, it's angry and metallic enough. Guess it's a fight with my boyfriend.

Breaking Up: Thank You for Not Moshing by Reel Big Fish. Even MORE physical fighting with my boyfriend.

Prom/Dance: Unrelated Thing by They Might Be Giants. What? XD Weird slow dance...

Life's OK: I'm Cool by Reel Big Fish. Don't let the title fool you, this song is so inappropriate for "life's okay" and is so depressing. XD

Mental Breakdown: Bicycle, Bicycle, You Are My Bicycle by be your own PET. I guess that DOES work. XD

Driving: Cheer Up Emo Kid by Patent Pending. What? No! XD

Flashback:Silver and Cold by AFI. That is one heckuva depressing flashback!

Getting Back Together: Giving Up, Giving In by Streetlight Manifesto. This song is the exact OPPOSITE of getting back together, this is an I-don't-need-you song.

Birth of Child: Wreck My Car by They Might Be Giants. No Fingertips please, I'm gonna try the next one...

O, Do Not Forsake Me by They Might Be Giants. WHAT. THE. XD By the time I'm 1000 years old, I'll probably have hit menopause...

Wedding: Harajuku Girls by Gwen Stefani. Why do I own this song? XD I guess we're getting married in Japan with a bunch of blue-haired Japanese bridesmaids. Yeah no.

Final Battle: Girls on TV by be your own PET. Music's appropriate, I guess, but the lyrics could be a little off, I dunno.

Death Scene: That'll Be the Day by Streetlight Manifesto. And in THIS one, the lyrics are right but the music is way off.

Funeral Song: XO by Fall Out Boy. This is an oddly sweet song, but again, not solemn enough at all.

End Credits: Spy by They Might Be Giants. Yeah, end my beautiful movie in which I DIE with THAT. Ah well, it's a screwy movie anyway.

--

Oh, and I've done a similar thing where you instead have to select a LYRIC from the song that comes up, without naming the song or leaving a comment.

Opening Credits:
She's precious
And perfect
But easily broken

Waking Up:
Gonna be a big star
If they can get the chance
But it takes more than talent in this high-priced world
If you want a little song and dance

First Day At School:
And it's been said
She's been here far too long to just surrender
She's far too far from home to just turn around

Falling In Love:
Let's just say
That before you choose you should
You should know
That either way you lose

Fight Song:
The modern with the warrior
The mean with the stride
The Tom with the Sawyer
And the mean, mean, mean, mean pride

Breaking Up:
You call, and I'll answer
Make me understand
Why I have to hate you
That's quite okay

Prom/Dance:
(Day in, day out) It's not that bad
(I worry and I worry) But you'll never have to worry again
(Day in, day out) It's not that bad
(I worry and I worry) But you'll never have to worry again
(Won't have to worry again) Never be alone

Life's OK:
With the lights out it's a little less dangerous
Even with a stranger it never gets painless
Don't be afraid, afraid, afraid...

Mental Breakdown:
Wonder
How can I go on and on
When you want to bury my passion
You are
The shell around
And I cannot escape
And I swallow my pride

Driving:
So long, scarecrow
So long, bad mood
So long, prescription pad
So long, bad blues
Oh
We don't care anymore

Flashback:
I'm standing up to all my abuse
Inexperience is where I lose
I'm struggling to keep my edge...

Getting Back Together:
The statue got me high
The statue got me high
The truth is where the sculptor's chisel chipped away the lie

Birth of Child:
We like pizza but she doesn't eat the crust
I love her and she loves everyone

Wedding:
You're falling into his trap
His intentions are bad
Just stop and look around
You're on your way...

Final Battle:
We took a walk that night but it wasn't the same
We had a fight on the promenade out in the rain

Death Scene: We're goin' down, down in an earlier round
And sugar, we're goin' down swingin'
I'll be your number one with a bullet
A loaded God complex, cock it and pull it

Funeral Song:
She gave it all for it,
but still it didn't show
She gave up everything,
but they will never know

End Credits:
So let me thank you
For puttin' me back in my snail shell
I'd like to thank you
For puttin' me back in my snail shell

WHEW.

Opening Credits: Half a Week Before the Winter - Vanessa Carlton [A song about unicorns and vampires and innocence...wonderful. XD]

Waking Up: Sway - Vanessa Carlton [Say you would, say you could, say you'd come and stop the rain/Say you'd try and hold me tight and you just give me away/Make me high on lullabies and melodies for me to sway/Say you would, say you could, and you don't do anything. Not bad.]

First Day At School: Hi ya ya Yureumnahl (Summer Days) - Dong Bang Shin Gi [So I guess it means one thing...SUMMER SCHOOL! AHHH! No, actually, this is a happy song. I like school, so I guess it makes sense. "Dancing in summer paradise..."]

Falling In Love: I Wanna Hold You - Dong Bang Shin Gi [Wow...]

Fight Song: All Night Long - Se7en [Sometimes, fighting is fun, but I'd like to sleep too, kthnxbai.]

Breaking Up: Try My Love - Dong Bang Shin Gi [Dang it, no translations so I really have no idea what they're saying. The title fits though. >_>]

Prom/Dance: Free Your Mind - Dong Bang Shin Gi [Hahaha, a somewhat metal/pop song about how society has lost a sense of innocence...wow...]

Life's OK: Luz Control - Se7en [That's probably more fitting for the next one, haha.]

Mental Breakdown: I Just Wanna Be... - Se7en [The mood this song sets kinda fits anyway.]

Driving: Don't Give a Damn - BoA [Haha, how funny. ^_^ I can imagine this playing while driving on a freeway at like 120 mph, haha.]

Flashback: Cecilia - Simon and Garfunkel ["Making love in the afternoon with Cecilia, up in my bedroom/I got up to wash my face, when I go back to bed, someone's taken my place...so is this why I broke up with that one guy?]

I'ma try the song lyrics version. Disclaimer: I generally don't like the songs I like for their inventive lyrics.

Opening Credits:
Where my laser's at?
All the peoples try to tell where my laser's at
And your mother tried to show me all the laser tags

Waking Up:
Goodbye cruel world
I'm leaving you today
Goodbye, goodbye, goodbye
Goodbye all you people
There's nothing you can say
To make me change my mind
Goodbye
(That's the entire song, actually)

First Day At School:
Burninating the countryside
Burninating the peasants
Burninating all the people
In their thatched roof cottages

Falling In Love:
Who's the boy with with eyes full of wonder?
Thinks being yourself is the best thing to be
Who's that rascal with the tweezers in his pocket?

Fight Song:
I left my head around your heart,
Why would you tear my world apart?

Breaking Up:
I’m slipping off the edge
I’m hanging by a thread
I wanna start this over again

Prom/Dance:
Spider
He is our hero

Life's OK:
When Brian Boitano travelled through time
To the year three thousand ten
He fought the evil robot king
And saved us all again

Mental Breakdown:
A fistful of lies,
Dressed up in disguise,
And make no mistake,
I know they’re all so fake, they’re all so fake

Driving:
Moving very slowly
Moving slowly
Moving very very slowly
Very slowly
Slower and slower and slower and
Slower and slower and slower and
Slower and slower and slower and
slower!
(Heh)

Flashback:
All in all you were just a brick in the wall
All in all it was all just bricks in the wall

Getting Back Together:
He's got a watch with a minute hand
A millenium hand and an eon hand
And when they meet it it's a happy land
Powerful man, universe man

Birth of Child:
How was I supposed to know we were both related?
Believe me, if I knew she was my cousin we never would've dated
What to do now

Wedding:
Set me free
There's a world out there,
waiting for us all,
I believe.

Final Battle:
How could you go?
When you know how I need you,
To beat to a pulp on a saturday night.

Death Scene:
And in case you think I'm here cause I like making chit chat
Just remember what I said the money's under your hat

Funeral Song:
There must be some mistake,
I never meant to let them take,
Away my soul.
Am I too old?
Is it too late?

End Credits:
Can't seem to see the forest from the trees

Apparently my life will be full of Pink Floyd, South Park and Homestar Runner songs. That sounds about right.
