Prosper munched on a fruit, which was very juicy. He glanced over at Eruantian and Acedia, who seemed to be in conversation. I wonder what they're talking about? he thought, but dissmissed it. |

Jones' Girl wrote: He's talking! Progress! "Oh, well, you were hallucinating or something I guess. You thought I was your mother and you were apologizing for something," began Aurieul. "...You said I was dead. It kinda hurt my feelings." I sure hope he takes that in the lighthearted manner I meant... "So do you mind telling me what in the world you were talking about?" Eruantian was taken aback. He stuttered "Well, I... It's just that... I... *sniff*... I..." He got up and walked away from the party, not saying why.

Aurieul thought he didn't seem as distant as before. Like this time, he might be ready to talk. She quietly got up and followed him. |

<Out-in-character: Prosper slaps forhead. Oops, sorry> Prosper continued to watch. It appered that Eruantian was opening up. Very interesting. His curiosity was piqued. He contemplated going over, but realized that that would ruin the moment. Still, he now felt restless, he excused himself, grabbed another fruit to go, and wandered off, his head buzzing with ideas about what they were talking about. |

Marcus was reclining quite comfortably after his enormous dinner, rubbing his belly and smacking his chops. "So are we going to White Dragon Peak in the mornin, Cap'n? Maybe I can fight another dragon and get even bigger!" The Lizzardman flexed his arms, lost his balance, and fell over onto the ground. "Hehe, maybe I'll be as big as a dragon one day!" |

Eruantian walked until he was out of earshot of the rest of the party. He stopped, realizing Aurieul was behind him. He asked "Do you know what it's like to lose someone?" |

Drek sat near Thruendel, with Goldwing on the table nearby picking at a roasted rabbit. He turned to the old Druid. "Thurendel, I want to thank you for your offer to hep us in our travels. Also, if I may, I would like to make a request of you. I know you are very powerful, and I wanted to know if it would be possible for you to send a message to Suldeneselar. I wish to update my father, the Emperor, on the situation." |

Thurendel replied to Drek: "I would be able send a message to my Brother Druids in Suldeneselar, and they could relay the message for me, but that would mean using the stone circle and unfortunately it's too damaged right now to allow me to use it for that purpose. If you leave the message with me, I promise I'll convey it to Suldeneselar as soon as we've repaired the stone circle. Now that my conclave is no longer controlled by the monster, it should only take a few days to repair it." |

Marcus reached for his crutch. "Help! Someone help me!" A group of Pixies came to his aid and sat his chair back in its proper position. He overeheard Drek and the Druid. "You need help moving stones? I've got plenty of muscle if yeh do!" |

Thurendel said: "That is really very kind of you both but this is something that we Druids must do for ourselves. The tenets of our faith require that only those who walk the path of The Druid should purify or rebuild such a place. Besides, they will not move by muscle but rather by faith. We will honour the Earth-Mother, and she will raise the stones back to where they should be. It was the Earth-Mother who originally raised them up as a place where we may commune together, and that is why the Stones are sacred to us. Thus, for it to again be a proper place for us to commune with nature and with each other, we must rely on our faith or all will be for naught. Do you understand?" |

Marcus wasn't paying attention; he was instead swatting at a fly buzzing around his head but was too stuffed to move an inch otherwise. "OH! Yeah, I understand. Nature stuff and all that." The Lizzard yawned. "Anyone else feeling sleepy yet? I sure am." |

Unlike Marcus, Andrew was paying full attention. "I understand, this place needs to be rebuilt by your own faith of the Earth-Mother and I'm not of that religion" answered Andrew. Andrew than responded to Marcus's question, "Yeah, it is getting a bit late and I don't want to be still tired when I wake up." |

Captain Sealem said: "Then, I suggest that we retire for the evening. But first, a toast." He raised his goblet of fruit juice, stood up and said: "First, here's to our hosts, the Pixies who made this great feast in hour of our brave deeds today. And also, here's to my stalwart companions; brave souls, every one. Huzzah!" |

Marcus lazily sat up and reached across over his belly to a nearly empty goblet, plopped back into his "throne" and raised the goblet in the air with the others. He said some toast in Lizzard-tongue that no one understood before falling on his back again, tired and tipsy. With any luck Marcus would get a proper bed to sleep in tonight. |

Unsurprisingly, everyone got a a proper bed to sleep in that night. The night passed uneventfully. Even the Pixies stayed quiet, despite the fact that they don't sleep. |

<I'm assuming that you mean, "everyone who was present at the feast". We've got something major happening with Eruantian> Prosper soon became very bored, and hurried back to the tents. Everyone was gearing down to bed, but he wasn't tired yet, with all that had happened, so he sat at the base of a tree to relax. |

Taryn stayed awake merely because she didn't sleep either, though rather than wander around, as is her wont, she remained curled into a tight ball in the corner of whatever tent Acedia ended up using that night. The reason for this break from tradition was simply because of the pixies. Acedia, on the other hand, slept rather peacefully and uneventfully. |

Aurieul stood silently, thinking about her mother and all that had happened since she died. She then began to think about her father and his disappearance she'd heard about so many times. Before she knew what was happening, there were tears running down her cheeks. |

Goldwing decided to nest in the branches of the Great Oak that night. However, it wasn't the only bird of prey nesting there. Higher up, a Grey Owl hooted, waiting for the sun to set so it could do it's nocturnal hunting. [GM's note: It's dusk now. It's still summer, but the days are getting noticeably shorter now. in Earth terms, it would be like late August or early September.] Just then, Micheal woke up. He could smell food (still on the feast-table), so he got out of his tent. A female Pixie flew up and said: "Oh, you're awak. We threw a feast in honor of you and your companions, but you were asleep when you arrived. The others have all gone to bed, but we saved you some supper." Micehal, still groggy and with sleep in his eyes said: "Thanks... I'm still tired, but I'm so used to sleeping at night that I guess my body couldn't stay asleap." The pixie giggled mischievously. Micheal immediately suspected that the Pixies had used some sort of cantrip to wake him up just so he wouldn't go hungry... but he decided not to say anything. It was rude to impune the good graces your host, especially when your host was giving you free food. He ate alone, watching Goldwing settle in high up in the Great Oak and listening to the owl hoot away. |

The Lizzardman snored quite loudly as he slumbered. He dreamt of fighting big battles with his big sword and big muscles. Everything was big. Occasionally, Marcus thrashed at the air as if he were really fighting, but it was all just a dream. Anyone who might have seen him in his tent would have woken him up laughing. He also rolled over and scratched his belly here and there. Although it hung over the front of his kilt like a round, scaly melon, it was getting smaller. Marcus's rippling abs would return within a day or so. It isn't common at all to see a fat Lizzardman. |

Quinn, after toasting the Pixies earlier that night, had left the camp to look at the stars. 'Ah,' he thought to himself, 'that was quite nice of the pixies to feed us all.' As he looked up to continue star gazing, a bright white light shot skyward from the peak of the mountain. Quinn, thouroghly dazed and blinded by the light, stumbled into camp and fell asleep. |

Micheal, having ate his fill, got up from the table and went to bed. The next morning, it rained briefly before sunrise, but it was only a rainshower and it didn't last. By an hour past sunrise, it was sunny again. |

<now, don't call me paranoid, but I've learned that almost all events out of the ordinary are foreshadowing. Is the rain anything like that?> Tem had a dream that he was still in Squiddly Man City. He saw several Flayers around him get grabbed and shaken by telekinesis, and then they all got shot by crossbows. Tem fell, and saw the face of... Kacj Eref, the general of Squiddlyman Mountain's army. *** Tem woke up in a cold sweat, still wearing his cloak. His hardite armor laid in a heap beside a bed he somehow got in. Then, realizing it was very early, he simply fell back in his bed. |

<GM's Note: If it was foreshadowing, I couldn't tell you, because that would ruin it. Otherwise, what's the point of using foreshadowing? Thus, I can neither confirm nor deny your hypothesis.> |

<OOC: I have no idea what you're talking about.> Maxwell woke up, crawled out iof his bed, and set about making breakfast. He lit a fire, cracked two goose eggs into a pan, chopped up some leftovers from last night's feast, and proceeded to make omelets for everyone. He also pan-fried some leftover bread to make toast, and he boiled water for tea. Thurendel joined him presently, saying: "Good morning, Mister Maxwell. I trust you slept well last night. Myself, I had a most interesting dream. I think it was more than merely a dream, though. It felt like a premonition. Maxwell said: "Do you often have these kinds of dreams?" Thurendel said: "No, but when I do they usually turn out to have been describing something that happens later." Maxwell said: "Go on." Thurendel paused, sat down, and took off his head covering: "I don't mean to alarm you, but the dream involved you. In my dream, you are being choked by an Ogre-Mage who is out for revenge. I... I can't see if you live or not. Then, I see him as he kidnaps one of your companions, who he holds for ransom. What he demands for ransom is close by, but not within the grasp of your companions. It's something one of you had before, though. Something you lost." Maxwell said: "Revenge, eh? Well, we fought an Ogre-mage who tried to rob us early in our travels. Killed it, we did. Killed it dead. And later, a Drow disguised itself as an Ogre-mage as part of a trick meant to ensnare us, but we managed to kill that one too. So, perhaps a friend of the first one is out to get us, or a friend of the second. Either way, forewarned is forearmed. We'll be extra-careful from here on out." |
