Coren trotted in with the rest of them swinging his sword around skillfully, yet at the the same time, aimlessly. He realized what he was doing might be a danger, stopped, put it in the scabbard on his back and kept going.

Prosper was glad to see Eruantian alright. He survayed the frozen chariot with awe, supposeing that only Eruantian, with his now recovered ring. He looked at the frozen orcs inside, marking the one that he supposed was the leader in his mind. Other than that, he waited for orders.

Auriel found that the passages she'd been in lead to nothing but dead ends, so she retraced her steps.

Meanwhile, Drek said: "So, any Idea where Auriel is?"

Chezzo said: "If that's the name of your friend, then she was in a cage the last time I saw her."

Drek said: "Then lead the way."

Chezzo led the group to the room where Auriel had been, but of course the Bugbears objected. Naturally, some small battles ensued.

A bugbear charged towards Andrew but he just stepped to the side, jumped and knife-hand striked (karate chopped) the bugbear in the neck, breaking it.

...heh, easier than I thought, why don't they ever think before attacking.

Acedia had done a lot of shifting in the past several hours, and that was starting to take its toll on her - her head had begun to hurt a bit and she was just slightly dizzy. Against this latest batch of Bugbears she decided she'd try some conventional weapons before resorting to her magic again, because she rather liked being conscious. To that end, she borrowed a set of throwing knives from Taryn, and found that she could handle them quite well. How interesting.

{ Look at me, recalling some minute detail from probably 12-15 pages ago wherein we all got new abilities o_O }

Meanwhile, the spectre had withdrawn a fairly small sickle from her own arsenal and was fighting with that.

Prosper ran with the others as they followed Chezzo through the mine to where the cage was. Prosper was intrigued to have met someone of around his age in the group, and made a mental note to get to know him a bit more.
They soon arrived at their destination, where they found waiting for them several angry Bugbears. Oh boy.
Prosper began doing exactly as he had above ground, dodgeing and weaving, stabbing where he could, not killing many but inguring most. He began making his way slowly to where he thought he could see a cage.

Tem's temtacles[sic] grew pointed, and impaled a guard. When he withdrew it, the bugbear's mind came with it. It's stupidity truly showed on the plane of thought, where it was a shapeless blob, which Tem devoured. 'hey, save that body for me to debrain once my body recorporates' he said to the party.

"We are not going to hang out here and wait for you, uh, 'recorporate,' Tem," Taryn declared, cleanly hewing the head of another bugbear. "We're not going to carry that carcass with us, either. You can eat later."

Prosper found a cage, but it was empty. However, Marcus could smell Auriel's scent, and it went off in two directions.

<Marcus can't determine directionality by smell.... that is, he knows the path the scent exists on, but not the order in which it was laid down. Since Auriel was brought to the kitchen from here and then escaped, snuck past this room, and went further out into a room the rest of the party hasn't been in yet, she could have one of two ways from here as far as Marcus can tell.>

"She went two different ways," said Marcus. "One this way, one that way. Prosper! You take this one." He pointed to the right.

Marcus followed the first scent into the kitchen. Sitting on a counter was a big burlap sack of food. Or something. Marcus could smell Acedia and food. Maybe some potatoes or veggies.

Prosper came to the cage, but it was empty with the door wide open. As the battle raged all around he heard Marcus call to him.
"Alright!" the boy called back. He doged though the fray, stabbing as he went, and ducked into the tunnel.
As he went down, he came to a chamber with three branch offs. He had no way to tell which to go, so he began to guess. One vered off to the left, but looked like it wen't up. She probably would've taken the one she thought would lead her to the surface. he thought. He began to go down it.

<I can't remember which it was, so I'll let Sarge describe what I see. This was a dead end right?>

Marcus found a group of Bugbears gathered around something, in a circle, with their back to him. This was, aparantly, some sort of food preperation area. As Marcus walked in, one of the Bugbears turned, noticed Marcus, shouted something in alarmed/surprised goblinoid, and attacked unarmed.

<GM's Note: Maxwell, Farnham and Horin had gone with Marcus and are right behind him. Captain Sealem, Maria, Drek and the rest of the NPCs have gone with Prosper. Decide which group your with NOW or I'll assign you a place through my awsome reality-bending Gamemaster Powers ™ * >

Prosper found that the passageway he'd entered was long and had many other passageways branching off of them.

Auriel heard some noise coming from the way she had come... the sound of battle, with much yelling and such. The guard she had bonked over the head didn't wake up, and her armor fit Auirel very nicely.
