<OOC: Talking about names, I do think it is a bit wierd that Andrew's name is Andrew, consdering he's a monk...although he is a western monk, maybe if I post his monastery's backstory later it will make him seem a bit more full...>
Was shocked at how well Marcus handled the battle, despite his terrific preformance against the Boss Bugbear earlier and glad this time he avoided cannibalism.
He is like the Grim Reaper with a sword...
After the shock Andrew said "Well I guess we better progress, who knows what Aurieul is going through..."
<GM's note: If we can have a Mage named Micheal, we can have a Western Monk named Andrew. They're both Christian names (St. Micheal being an Archangel and St. Andrew being an Apostle), but It's still possible that these names could be common in-universe without Christianity, since they were both common names in the near-and-middle east from about the 3rd Century BC, well before the events of the New Testament. (Well, sort of... they're both anglicized versions of names; One comes from the Greeks, the other from Hebrew.) One might even imagine that these names had completely different origins than what we might expect from Earth history.>
Marcus found that these Bugbears didn't put up much of a fight compared to the one's he'd fought outside. Aparantly, they hadn't been expecting trouble or something. He also found a pig of some sort roasting over an open fire. It was on a big metal stick suspended by two big "Y" shaped metal prongs, with an apple in it's mouth. It had been gutted (It's stomach and intestines were removed).*
Auriel's scent led to a cage. The lock on the cage wasn't locked, but it had been placed such that it looked locked until one tried to test it. Aparantly, it had been picked. There was nothing in the cage except some farm animals and some straw.
Meanwhile, Prosper was following Captain Sealem. Prosper, being Human, was having a difficult time seeing in the dark, but there was just enough light to see by. Suddenly, he ground rumbled, and Prosper's Amulet glowed brightly. Captain Sealem said: "What was that?" and then the ground shook some more. Then, a steady "Thump ThUmp THUMP !!THUMP!!!" could be heard. It was quickly getting lounder. Captain Sealem said, grimly "Everyone, take cover!" just as something large burst up from the ground below their feet, tossing the party around like bowling pins that had just been hit by a bowling ball. Prosper's Amulet kept him safe, and he didn't even get knocked down, but with all the dust and dirt flying around and the ever-present darkness he couldn't see a thing.
Just as Eruantian was entering a tunnel with Chezzo and Tem, he heard Captain Sealem cry out and a massive explosion echo throughout the mine. And then, something very loud and very inhuman let out a blood-curdling roar that send shivers down the spine of everyone who heard it. What evil stalks the mine? Stay tuned! All will be revealed in the next chapter: Operation Storyteller: Decent Into The Underdark!

<GM's Note: Yep, it's the end of a Chapter and the beginning of a new one. We're going to The Underdark, folks, and we're gonna battle a lot of underdark-ish stuff along the way, like Drow, Duregar, Gelatinous Ooze, Troglodytes, Mole-Men, etc.
