Hopefully this'll be fun.
Basic premise:
You post a quote from a movie.
People guess the movie from which it originates.
Whoever gets the movie right posts a new quote, and the cycle continues.
Basic Rules:
Keep quotes relatively short. Don't post a full 2-minute monologue. A few sentences at most will suffice.
If it's a quote that is heard in more than one movie (such as "Be afraid; be very afraid."), the correct answer can only be the FIRST movie in which it was heard (even if the quote was made famous by a later movie). The only caveat to this is if the line is originally from a TV show and not a movie...the first MOVIE still applies.
Of course, the game works a lot better if people don't look up the answer online. Unfortunately, there's no way I or anyone else can actually enforce this, so it's up to all of us to simply trust each other on that.
Also, please don't answer correctly more than 3 in a row...though since you'd have to post the next quote, by "in a row," I'd mean like this:
Person A: Quote 1
Person B: Correct answer for Quote 1 - Quote 2
Person C: Correct answer for Quote 2 - Quote 3
Person B: Correct answer for Quote 3 - Quote 4
Person D: Correct answer for Quote 4 - Quote 5
Person B: Correct answer for Quote 5 - Quote 6
...and so forth. Just give other people an opportunity, m'kay? Kthnx. Now, for the first quote to get the ball rolling!:
"I'm a fan of man! I'm a humanist. Maybe the last humanist."
