Oops, sorry. What I was saying wasn't new, though, when I'm dead. Some of the people that are lynching who I said were already going to do it when I said those clues.

but I'm not saying anything else now. I'll just be dead with Ju Ju and talk to him about this.

I just thought that what you said were being conserved by some of thye other players, considering there are similar WS (Wolf Suspects).

No graphic death this time, sorry. I still don't like how this chapter turned out.

Night 3: Strategies

Teff was working in his office when he heard Beardo run down the halway, yelling incoherently. He stepped outside and asked what was the matter. Beardo panted, out of breath, "Signal.... we got... a signal! Come!" Beardo rushed back towards the comm booth. Teff followed, as did Ace and Susan, who had also heard the commotion.
In the booth, a soothing male voice could be heard over the speakers. "...across an immense ethereal gulf, minds that are to our minds as ours are to the beasts in the jungle, intellects vast, cool and unsympathetic, regarded this earth with envious eyes..."
"What's it talking about?" whispered Susan. "Is it a warning? Is there... something... out there in the world?"
"Is it a news report? A secret government transmission?" speculated Ace.
"It's War of the Worlds," frowned Teff. The others turned to look at him, puzzled. He continued, "It's a very famous radio play from the 1930s. It freaked out a lot of people who thought it was real."
"Dang, Teff, I didn't know you were that old," joked Ace.
Teff rolled his eyes. "I just like old stuff, okay? And I'd recognize Orson Welles' voice anywhere. This is a really nice recording, too. There's no deterioration due to aging."
"Why would someone broadcast a recording of an old radio play out here in the middle of nowhere?" wondered Beardo aloud.
Ace shrugged. "We can figure it out later. For now, we should tell Einoo and the rest of them." The four walked off to do just that.

At the wolves' meeting that night, the wolves were of mixed feelings. "Well, this voting thing has worked perfectly so far," snickered one. "All we have to do is accuse a human and all the rest of them pile on! They'll be finished before the week is out!"
But an older member of the group was not pleased. he turned to the first speaker and said, "Not if you keep giving yourself away. You need to act more convincing; think about how a human would respond before you say anything."
Another voice: "There's not time for bickering. We need to vote, and we need to get rid of a threat. I say we go for the one that's been accurately accusing wolves - you know who I mean."
But the first wolf dismissed his claim. "And have the others listened to him once yet? If we get rid of him they'll figure out he was right. Let's take out someone irrelevant, like, I dunno, Revenge of the Burninated." The others nodded in agreement and selected a hunter for the night.

SUMMARY
- Story stuff: Teff identified the transmission as being an old War of the Worlds broadcast. No one knows why. The wolves attempt to keep the humans in the dark.
- buhubs is now officially replacing Stupendous7.
- Revenge of the Burninated was killed. he was a human.
- It is now day. Everyone vote.
- 11 humans and 8 wolves remain.

OK, we've suspected DaCheet15 for a while. I think it's finally time to vote him as a wolf.

If I'm allowed to comment on the story, those wolves have good strategies (if that IS their strategy). Good job, warwelfs.

I say we vote off Ace. He's the one who spread the rumor about BTG and I bet that old wolf was talking to him during the wolves' meeting.

EVERYONE expected it was BTG. The story was too incriminating.

Anyways, as I think we should vote for Dacheet. Maybe we can avenge The Noid if we're right.

Well, the story said
Quote:
All we have to do is accuse a human and all the rest of them pile on!

And Ian was the first one to suspect BTG.

And his defenses are weak and irrelevant, so I'm thinking him, but I'm not gonna vote yet.

The story also throws suspicion on Rogue Leader and at the end of Day 2 it is said that Ace started the rumor. Therefore, I pick Ace.

Ian seems to be acting short with a lot of people throughout the game, it's just pointing fingers left and right, but however, there are some other people like...

well I don't want to read too much into this but if the wolves strategy is to kill off the person who accuses too much (you know who) and Homeschool's voting for Ian...is that a sign he might be a wolf?

Eh, I dunno, I'm torn, I'll have to contemplate.

EDIT: Sorry, I know this isn't the place for this but I just saw a lower title under Ian's name and I'd like to congraduate him on his new mod powers.

Uhh...congratulations?

Congraduate. It's like a portmanteau of congratulate and graduate. I'm using that.

So what? Compare the two clues, the evidence against BTG was right there, you don't even have to think about it.

Too late now though, oh well.

Cheer up Ian, and you can't really blame him, everyone's wolf suspicion is bound to come up sooner or later. But I understand your anger, anyone would be, if people think you're a wolf than it's a sure sign you might die...in the game, IN THE GAME! *whew* almost blew my cover.

I mean, not cover, uhhh...clover?

Al, I've already said multiple times why I thought it was BTG.

Acekirby wrote:
Come on, there was a lot of evidence that BTG was the wolf here. 1, he was tired. 2, he was covered by a big red hoodie, which would have covered the wound Noid gave him. 3, he was reluctant to go to the town meeting. 4, he wasn't surprised that Noid was killed.

There was a lot of reasons I thought BTG was a wolf. I didn't make some kind of snap decision.

What?

Look back, Ian was the first person to suspect BTG. I was just going along with him.

EVERYONE thought it was him.

I would have gladly given you a chance, but everyone voted before you were able to do so.

Wait...you hadn't voted yet. Why was the voting closed?

It's kind of hard for me to do anything when I am in a area with no computers and no internet connections. It doesn't matter now anyways.

I'm sorry Homeschool, I'm gonna have to vote you, it's just too big of a similarity between the story and you.

These people are all gonna get slain by the wolves before they even pick one right because they're too busy arguing over fake ones and real ones to come together and CHOOSE one.

I'm telling you guys, Dacheet is a wolf! He might not have been in tonight's story, but there's some hard evidence pointing to him.

I am gonna hold off on the voting for a little, bit, I wanna see the evidence. I mean, Ian sounds suspicious and stuff, but really, we all are acting like him. We gotta take our votes carefully now, we need to score a hit bad.
