A few days late but at least it's here.
ROUND 13: EXPERT MARKSMAN
Teff and Acekirby carried the corpse into Ace's office and set it down on a white table. The office was a mess. All of the filing cabinets were open with loose papers stacking up inside each one of them.
"Ace, you live like an animal. I always remember your house being so clean, too..." Teff laughed.
"I keep this place clean, trust me. Those wolves sneak in here at night and try to scare me from doing my job, I suspect. But it's gonna take a lot more than a big bad wolf to stop me from working." Ace replied.
"I'll look into security," Teff said. He picked a chair up off the ground and sat down in it. "Anything notable on this one?"
"Well, we have the usual claw marks all around the body. But this is pretty weird. Looks like there's a bullet wound here right between the eyes." Ace looked in closer.
Teff got up and walked over to the table. "That's interesting," Teff said. "Maybe there's somebody else killing the people then..."
"My thoughts exactly. The guy must be an expert marksman, too. Shooting somebody right between the eyes is no easy task." Ace agreed.
"But a wolf could have still killed this guy, right?" Teff asked.
"It's entirely possible," Ace turned around to look at Teff. "...but it baffles me why they would use a human gun to take out a human."
"Maybe we underestimate these guys. They could be smarter than we are." Teff shrugged.
"Could be. Anyways, have any idea who our shooter is?" Ace asked.
"I have a few hunches." Teff said. After that, he walked out of Ace's office and went on his way.
Some hours later, at the city meeting, Teff stood up at the podium and began to speak. "Once again, a corpse was found bloody and beaten this morning. We have examined the corpse closely and it has just been reported to me that it is Did he sell eggs's corpse." Most of the people were shocked by this discovery. "But there is something else. it was not a wolf's claw that killed him - there is a bullet wound right between the eyes."
Most of the people gasped in surprise. Others couldn't believbe what they were hearing - a human betray them all? It couldn't be true. "With the bullet being right between the eyes, a very good shot must have killed DHSE." Teff said.
"DARK GRAPEFRUIT!" STupendous7 yelled. "She's the best shot out of all of us!"
Other people began to agree. Some of them started shouting "KILL THE WOLF!" On the other hand, a large group of people protested that idea, turning the tables at STu. The whole building erupted with screams and confusion. "BE QUIET!" Teff yelled. "All those in favor of DG?"
Several people raised their hands. "All those in favor of STu?" Several people, although noticeably less than the people for DG, aised their hands. "DG, please step forward. It seems that you are dying today."
DG didn't say a word. Instead she just stepped forward with a look of hate on her face. When she reached Teff, she whispered something that only Teff could here. Teff instantly grew angry and shot DG. She fell to the floor, writhing in pain. She then began to turn into a wolf. Teff threw the gun on the ground and walked out of the building.
Meanwhile, Father, the blue wolf, stood on a hill nearby the town hall. Laughing to himself, he remarked "Those silly humans. They have yet to realize that there is no way they can win. The death of Pmls'sbre will only aid us. Isn't that right, my son?"
Quentin stepped forward, and with a sigh, he replied. "Yes, Father."
Dark Grapefruit was killed. She was a wolf.
It is now a hunting round. This round ends on Thursday, December 13th.
That clue was pretty obvious, huh? So obvious that it can't be true...apparently I underestimate you guys.
