Let's get back to business. Christmas Break is over (20 days late, but whatever) and Teff speaks truth. It's in the rules. Sorry about the wait.
ROUND 15: TROUBLE BREWING
Teff was asleep in a chair inside of his large cabin. Leading the city is hard work, especially when there's a pack of psycho murderers plotting and killing every night. Teff only slept for about an hour or two a day, three hours tops. He spent far too much time thinking and calculating, trying out every possible option to stop the murders in his head. None of them seemed to work, however.
There was a loud knock on his cabin door, and then another. By the third knock, Teff was awake. He opened his eyes, looked around him, and got out of the chair. "Mr. Teff, sir! Come quick, there's been another murder!"
Teff immediately opened the door. Sci-fi Greg was standing there in exercise clothes with a look of panic on his face. "The body - he's - over in an alley, s-sir..."
"Well, let's get going then. We should clean up the scene before anybody else is up." Teff calmly said.
Sci-fi Greg led Teff on over to a small alley. Upon seeing body, Teff winced. The corpse was slumped up against a wall with blood streaking all over it. A large pool of blood covered the entire alley - there was so much blood that it seemed like there were two corpses somwhere. Teff checked around the corners, but there was no other body to be found.
"So, Greg, do you mind if I ask you a few questions?" Teff asked.
"N-no..." Sci-fi Greg stuttered.
"What were you doing when you came across the corpse?" Teff took out a notebook and a pen.
"I was out exercising, like I usually do. I was j-just doing my normal route when I noticed something red. Something r-really red..." Sci-fi Greg responded.
"It c-caught my attention, so I left my route to see what it was. And...th-that's where I saw it. The..m-mangled body..." Sci-fi Greg couldn't say anything else.
"It's okay, Greg. Why don't you go into my cabin and have a warm cup of coffee? It'll make you feel better, trust me." Teff comforted Greg.
"O-okay...thanks..." Greg went on his way.
Teff sighed as her turned back to the scene. "Poor kid. Nobody should have to see this..."
--Meanwhile, on Earth...--
Alan Richardson was always a hard worker. In school, he always paid attention and studied every night. After becoming valedictorian, he went to law school and became a lawyer. A few years later, Alan became a District Attorney. He never lost a case and exposed several corrupt businesses and people. He ran for Congress and won in a landslide election. When the presidential elections came around, Alan wasted no time in running in the race. He went all the way and was soon President of the United States.
Unfortunately, the job soon turned out to be more than he bargained for. Revolutionists from the West Coast threatened the entire nation while the East hopelessly tried to stop them. A civil war erupted, with the East side of the nation against the West side. At first, it seemed like the East would have an easy victory. But the West was getting help from America's rivals. They were trying to send the civilians off to different planets, but it was a disaster the last time they tried it.
It was hard to be a leader during a civil war, especially when the people hate you for not stopping the war at an early stage. But Alan Richardson tried the best he could. His attempts weren't succeededing, however - in fact, they were helping the East lose the war.
Alan was frequently at his father's expensive D.C. home, taking advice from the war veteran. On this particular day, it would turn out to be a horrible mistake. There was somebody waiting for him there, and not with a present.
Alan reached the top of the stairs and turned around the corner. He bumped into somebody as he rounded the corner.
"Excuse me..." Alan muttered.
"Oh, excuse me, Mr. President. It's an honor to meet you." The person grinned.
"Say...who are you?" Alan was suspicous.
"Me? Mike Williams." Mike smiled.
"Williams...doesn't sound familiar..." Alan stepped back.
"Oh, I'm not a member of your staff. You could say I'm just a fan." Mike grinned a bigger grin.
"Yes...well...nice meeting you, Mr. Williams." Alan turned around. Mike stopped him.
"Hey, you're not going anywhere...."
"What!?"
Mike picked up Alan and threw him into the bathroom. Alan didn't have time to yell, because Mike was already in there with the door locked. Hair was popping up all over Mike. In an instant, Mike was a snarling, furry wolf. He jumped onto Alan and bit him in the arm. Alan quietly yelled.
"Don't yell, you'll grow to love it! You'll be just like me. And then we can have our little payback...."
---Back at the death scene...---
Teff was finishing up cleaning the scene when he heard a noise. He looked around him, and after a few seconds of staring into space, he found nothing. He went back to cleaning up the scene. Almost right away, he heard it again. Once more, nothing. Teff heard it again. He looked up to sigh when he saw it: a gray, frail wolf perched on the roof of a nearby building.
"Took you long enough!" the wolf snickered. "I see you're done cleaning up that mess, bro."
Teff glared at the wolf. "Ju Ju, I can tell it's you. There's no use in trying to trick anyone anymore. Just come quietly, and-"
"And what?" Ju Ju barked. "And you'll just kill me, like all the others? I despise you humans. You destroyed my people."
"What are you talking about? You ARE a human, or at least you were born one." Teff took a slow step forward.
"Correct, I was born one. But I'm not one of you scum anymore." Ju Ju was getting angry.
Teff simply stared at Ju Ju for a moment and then sprinted forward. It took Ju Ju a second to realize what was happening. He jumped across the rooftops while Teff took turns in the alleyways, trying to lose Ju Ju. Ju Ju kept up with him, however, and Teff was starting to lose his breath.
Luckily, Teff had made it to the City Hall. He burst into the building, yelling "Somebody give me the gun! NOW!" He pushed through crowds of people, waiting for the day's lynch. He had reached the podium and grabbed the gun when Ju Ju burst into the building, screaming and yelling. People ran in panic. Some dove under tables to hide. Teff quickly aimed the gun and shot Ju Ju ion the forehead.
Ju Ju fell almost immediately. His mouth began to twist and his eyes were blinking uncontrollably. A final scream came out of his mouth and his eyes closed. People stopped panicking and Teff, exhausted, fell to the floor with a sigh.
Ju Ju Master was killed. He was a wolf. It is now a hunting round. This round ends on Friday, January 25th. Wolves and agent, send me your votes.
