"Quite soon" means within a week. With computer problems and general laziness/procrastination, you can not accomplish anything. ROUND 17: GRAVEDIGGER It was a quiet morning in the city. Some people were waking up after a nice night spent dreaming. It was nice and warm and there was a feeling of happiness in the air. It was almost as if the grisly murders had never really happened. Immediately, most people were snapped back into worrying about the wolves, but some continued to live in their fantasy world. Ace was already up and getting his work done for the day. He walked into the hospital and talked to the nurse in there. Almost immediately after finishing his conversation, he bolted out the doors and ran, not looking back at all along the way. He reached Teff's cabin and opened the door. Strange, he thought, that's not like him to leave his door unlocked.... Nothing was in the cabin except for a bed, a rocking chair, and a dusty nightstand. After just standing in the doorway for what seemed like an hour, Ace closed the door and walked away. He tried to walk away, but he tripped on a large dirt mound directly in front of the door. He grunted and got himself up. He turned around to see that the mound had words written on it - DIG HERE. Curious, he got on his knees and started digging with his hands. After a few minutes of digging, he noticed a shovel right next to the cabin. Ace grabbed the shovel and then started digging again. After 20 minutes of non-stop digging, Ace had reached a point where he could see something - a flesh-colored rock. He took the shovel and started to poke the rock (it is a long shovel) . He twisted the rock around to see that it wasn't a rock, it was a hand. He fell backwards in shock and dropped the shovel in the pit. Ace ran away to go get help, not looking back. ---- A large crowd was gathered around Teff's cabin. Most people were there to watch, but there were a few that were there to dig up the rest of whatever was in the pit, although Ace didn't let them do much work. A ladder was brought into the pit so that the diggers could climb up easier. Ace stood in the pit, furiously digging. He had unearthed the feet and he was planning to pull the rest of the body out using them. With all his strength, Ace pulled on the legs. The first time, he failed. The second time he pulled, a little bit of the upper stomach was revealed. The third time around, Ace pulled the whole body out, showing everybody watching that Teff was dead. Some people cried after seeing the body. Others, like Ace, just stared at the body with furious looks. Ace climbed out of the pit and threw the shovel aside. He angrily stomped off to the city hall, leaving the crowd there to stare at the body. After a long, awakward silence, The Zephyr Song stepped forward. "So...who's gonna be the new mayor?" "I believe that Ace is the most qualified for the job." Greg suggested. "As do I." The Zephyr Song nodded in agreement. Eventually the whole crowd agreed on Ace being the new mayor, and together, they walked over to the city hall to tell him. As Netzen opened the door to the hall, Ace jumped in front of it, holding the injection gun in his hand. He slammed open the door, sending Netzen flying over to a nearby stump. "Alright, one of you jerks killed my best friend, and it's about time the townspeople get their revenge on these monsters. Who do you think it should be, everybody? My ears are open and my finger is just itching to pull this trigger and end a meaningless life." Ace yelled, scaring some of the others. it seemed as if electing him might not have been a good idea after all. It is now a lynching round again. Vote here so we can end the round. |

Yaaay, I was in the story. xD So, lynching...hmm. Either Teff being buried like that is some kind of deep metaphor for the slight hiatus this game just got over, sorta, orrr it's a clue. No idea what it might mean, though. |
