I'll admit, maybe the bump wasn't completely necessary, but darnit, just can't let TWG go down without a fight, even if there are a bunch of possible replacements to fill.

I've read over some of the thread, I'd have no idea of who is a wolf, some people just seem to be more lurking in the shadows then looking like they're trying to help when they're not, because they're WOLVES!!!

Oh yeah I've been considering revealing who's a wolf/human and all the hints you guys didn't pick up on.

Anybody care about this anymore?

I would if anyone needed replacing, but I think ya kinda need more than 1 person to play. (Assuming the rest aren't after entering that stalemate)

How about a TWG III? Or perhaps a ZOG????

I was killed or I'd be playing still. I wouldn't mind another game as I think this one was attacked by zombie!ninjas or something.

Yeah, I'm all for a new game. Just without me hosting. I'm obviously pretty bad at it.

I'd be up for a new game too, that'd be fine.

Although a bit disappointing at the same time. JG and I had most everyone figured out.

Heh, well some of what I did in my first turn really pinned down a lot of other people =p

I'll go back in and get the hints later.

Well, Inverse did most of my work for me ;p

Oh crap, I lost my wolf list. Oh well, you'll figure out who was a wolf through these hints.

Round 1

- The Zephyr Song was a wolf. She was screaming at the dead wolf's body, not Jeff's. If the story continued and TZS was lynched the wolf would have been revealed to be her lover.

- Inverse was also a wolf, SURPRISING OR NOT, and that's why he was elected. I think I hinted to that at some of the wolves, telling them to assemble...anyways, he knew how the wolves infected each other from experience and let it slip.

Round 2

- Just a Username was a wolf. The obvious hint I planted was found.

Round 4

- The line clue was also obvious and resulted in another user getting lynched. This was supposed to be one of those "so obvious it' can't be true but guess what it is" ones.

Round 5

- The black wolf and the protoge of the head wolf was HHFOV. I tried to show this by having him use bigger words than the other wolves. :p

Round 6

- The Agent was weer5e (I believe, I lost the list) He didn't play much and therefore little agent interaction.

Round 8

- The bulky wolf was Beardo. I forget who the second, non NPC wolf was. srry guys

Round 12

- The purple wolf was DG, as you figured out. Probably. This one was also the Pmls's'bre or whatever.

- Jss'rsmbl stands for Jesus Resemble, which one of Beardo's first sigs boasted.

-Tr'tn, the gray wolf, is a reference to a certain user that has been at one point in time associated with 13. More on this later.

- P'vv'o was HHFOV, as Duece pointed out. Paavo or something is his rl-nickname.

- I don't think there were any red herrings in that chaper. That was a red herring.

Round 13

- The user associated with 13 was Ace. When Ace and Teff meet up in Ace's office, he says that Ace lives like an animal.

Chapter 14

- The Changer was sci-fi-greg. The chapter's title, "A Private Little Wolf", is a reference to "A Private Little War", which is a name of a Star Trek episode.

Chapter 15

- Sci-fi-greg was able to tell Teff about the body because he was there when the murder took place.

Chapter 16

- When Teff left the hospital, nobody was there to stop them. Ace led the workers away so Teff would fall for the trap.

Stuff that would have happened

The wolves were an ancient race that had been controlling America for some 200 odd years (like lizard people) that were finally exiled and sent to this carbon copy of Earth. However, some wolves still remained secret, and infiltrated the government, manipulating the American Civil War II and getting themselves a spot on the space shuttle. After reaching Earth II, they would murder the human crew members and strand them, planting a wolf to kill the president and ensure a wolf victory in Civil War II. They would then use their old shuttle that was used to send them there and travel back to Earth, reclaiming America.

So, anybody want a new game?

I'm all for a new game as I wasn't able to participate in this one.

Heck, I'd host a new game if I was any good at storytelling.

Oh heck yes JG, we totally had everybody.

Just to be precise, I was the seer, she was the angel. First turn, I saw Inverse, and then all I had to do was see who agreed with him. Too bad you guys got me out pretty quickly. It was fun on the zombiebench while the game lasted.

We're good! I guess we'd better not brag too much though, or the wolves will take us out faster next time.

Yeah... well I think a big part of it was that we were both pretty lucky in the first turn or two, and once we had the pieces we did it was pretty obvious where everyone fell. Except for like, Stu for some reason :p

I've been playing some more complicated Mafia games elsewhere and I have a couple ideas that could make the game go faster/be more interesting. But I already hosted a game so if someone else wants to host, go right ahead and I will play.

I'd say just go for it DG, but I'm eager to play so maybe you should give everyone a few minutes to offer their storytelling skills.

Wow. I just realized I didn't do anything AT ALL the last game.

Wow.
Meaning: i'm in next game.
I guess I better be more active next game.

Yeah, I didn't really get why everybody thought he was a wolf.

It was because he pulled SO MANY tricks of a fumbling rookie wolf would do it wasn't even funny. No offense STu ;) Seriously though, if you could try and figure out how to do the opposite, that would work out much better for you ;p

Post subject:  Re: TWG II: Ended, who wants to host III?

I should probably actually detail my ideas.

- More special roles, including secret roles and mafia special roles. Exactly how many depends on how many players there are.
- Fewer mafia. The last game I did was 1/3 mafia, I want to cut it down to about 1/4. This could make the game a lot shorter if the town is very skilled and/or lucky. Or it could just mean they spend more time killing their own.
- A serial killer. This is a player that plays on a team of their own, trying to kill both mafia and town. This will definitely make the game shorter because both the mafia and killer get one kill per night.
- Much less reliance on story. My story clues were heavily weighted towards the town, even when I wasn't consciously trying to write in clues. It's not really fair to the mafia. this has nothing to do with the fact that I was killed because of a story clue

As for the setting, I was thinking a story based in the Heroes universe or one very similar. The special roles are superheroes and the mafia are an agency trying to eliminate them.
