Here is the wikipedia article on it:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Match_GameI'll need for this game two contestants to compete and six panelists.
There will be two fill-in-the-blank statements, Statement A and Statement B.
It will be randomly determined which contestant has first pick of the statement they would like to work with.
Each turn of a contestant:
All panelists and contestant will be polled for their answer (every panelist and playing contestant Private Message me), what they would fill in the blank with, and the contestant earns a point for each answer they match with a panelist's.
Whichever contestant is ahead in matches at the end of round 1 will have first pick of statement in round 2, however any panelist whose answer matches both contestants' cannot play further. First contestant to 6 points by both rounds moves onto an 'Audience Match' round for a chance to replace a panelist, if there is a tie, tiebreaking matching rounds will be played until we have a winner, hopefully not too much.
Audience Match:Current forumers who are not playing or panelist..ing in the game can choose to submit a word-association, one word will be given, you can PM me an association if you wish.
Contestants who move onto this round must associate a word with the word given, if it matches any of the top three associations of non-participating forumers they get to replace a panelist, any panelist can go out willingly, but if no one chooses to do so, be warned I will eject at random.
If the contestant does not, they stay a contestant and return to play in the next game if they wish, and face a new player, hopefully if one signs up.
If no assosciations are made I will simply do something 'Family Feud'-esque, based on public statistics.
Okay, so sign-up for fantastic time:
