Okay, in this game, you "fight" each other as if you're a military commander. Everyone is their own team, but you can have a few allies. EX:
person A: Deploy all units! Fire at will!
person B: Evasive action! Don't get hit!
Alright, let's get this crapshoot that I'm probably gonna get flamed for started
Deploy all units! Ready for incoming attack!
EDIT: I probably should have clarified this, but you make alliances with forumers who are playing the game.
Aussieguy made an alliance with Fox McCloud(I think), for example. Aussieguy can keep his alliance with Fox,
but in future I request that people make alliances with actual forumers. Thankyou.

Yeah, um, my missiles take out whoever is trying to take out tubes 3 and 4, and so then I use those BOMBS (yeah, those tubes held bombs) to destroy your anti troops. My ermergancy troops by now have gotten orginized and have started to attack back. Flood tubes 1 and 2. And, make an alliance with fox.

[not in game] How could you flood the tubes if they had bombs in them? [/not in game]
Deploy nuclear time-bomb at tube 1.5! Set blast-radius to 440 cubic miles! Set detonation time to 3:32!
do a barrel roll! Deploy pawns-troops! Keep them from defusing the bomb! Also, don't let mother ship
be followed! Every one besides the pawn-troops are ordered to retreat!

Send in the bombers!!! Destroy the pawn troops and get the bomb squad in there, GOGOGO I want maximum security for them and they must survive!! And defuse the bomb, cut down anyone in your way! Use the Tanks and humvees to take out the rest!!! And make sure he doesn't compete his barrel roll.

Fire Missles at the mother ship!!! WHATEVER YOU DO, DON'T GET ME KILLED!!!

Get our anti-air and fighters to the scene pronto, have the bombers pull back, we don't want to lose any of those things. Send some scouts to track the mother ship!! Ground troops, advance into their capital!!

Oh, on your edit, I was talking about the guy who was playing fox, not fox himself, but he seems to not actually like this game :-( so no, I wont keep my alliance with him.

Supply Ships
USS Sacramento (AOE-1)
HMCS Protecteur (AOR 509)

Sarge Orders the CVBG to six knots and into a Diamond formation, thusly: The three carriers are in a triangle the center of the diamond with Ark Royal and the Wasp at the base of the triangle and the Ford at the apex, with the apex pointing in the direction of movement. Distance between carriers is to be maintained at 12 NW normaly. The USS Iowa assumes a mark 14 NM ahead of the ford with the HMCS Protecteur trailing the Ark Royal by 2 NM and the USS Sacramento trailing the Wasp by 2 NM. This way the ships of highest strategic value are in the center of the CVBG. Flanking the Iowa, 4 NM distant at line abreast, are the USS Philippine Sea to the port while USS Port Royal takes the starboard flank. USS Chancellorsville is in lead of the Iowa by 4 NM. The Jeanne d'Arc is trailing 2 NM behind the Ford. The rest of the CVBG are deployed as picket ships, equaly spaced around the center of the carrier triangle to act as a defense against anti-ship missles, submarines, and fast attack boats.

I order the CVBG to General Quarters and deploy one E-2D Hawkeye into the air on an Airborne Early Warning (AEW) mission, with a pair of F-22Cs guarding it on a HAVCAP (High Asset Value Combat Air Patrol) flight plan. I also order the Cruisers, Frigates and Destroyers to outfit their choppers for Anti-Submarine Warfare and to go to Alert 5.

Then, I order the Ford to get a pair of F-22C AAWs on the fore-deck with a pair of S-3B Viking ASWs on the aft deck, while I order the WASP to put four F-35s on deck in AAW ready-alert. (Remember, the F-35 B is VTOL-capable while the F35-C is not.)

And then I wait.

(If you don't know what all those abbreviations are for, look it up)

My Hawkeye reports an inbound bomber group at 600 NM from the CVBG.

To USS Ford: Spyglass 1-1 reports inbound unidentified track, presumed hostile: Launch F-22s to intercept. Further, imperitive you establish three-ship F-22 BARCAPs along the line of intercept at Angels 40, Angels 100, and Angels 300. Maintain BARCAP. Launch Vikings when ready, armed ASW, search pattern Alpha 50 NM ahead. Bring all Super Hornet ASW flights to Ready 5 and maintain until further orders. That is all.

To USS WASP: Spyglass 1-1 reports inbound unidentified track, presumed hostile: Scramble F-35s to intercept, refresh ASAP. Bring LAMPS to Alert-1. Maintain Alert 1. That is all.

To HMS Ark Royal: Spyglass 1-1 reports inbound unidentified track, presumed hostile: Bring your flight deck to Emergency Standby Alert, prepare to scramble for AAW intercepts. That is all.

To Picket Ships: ALERT: Spyglass 1-1 reports inbound unidentified track, presumed hostile. You are weapons free. That is all.

To HSV-2 Swift: Break formation and proceed along track provided by Spyglass 1-1, best possible speed. Further orders to follow. That is all.

To SAC: We have unidentified inbound AEW contact, presumed hostile. Requesting SATLINT support, over.

Have air to ground attack fighters go and fight our new enemy, sarge. It seems as that we're not over land anymore, I'll have to deploy my men into small boats to go in and destroy the enemy fleet from the inside. Send in Battleships pronto. Have other major units fall back immediatly for intelligece. Send in the non-manned plane. And make sure that we don't lose strongfan's mother ship.

SAC responds by re-tasking a SpySat for me, revealing the positions of all relevant Surface and Air units in the general vicinity of strongfan's "Airforce Bombers"
<OOC: Strongfan, what kind of bombers are those? And what's this "Non-manned Plane?" Is that some sort of drone?>
Spotting the battleships with the SpySat, my fleet immediately launches salvos of Tomahawk Anti-Ship Missiles (TASM) at Strongfan's Battleships. They are presently in-flight.
Meanwhile, my Carriers launch their F-22s, F-35s, and S-3Bs, which proceed with their respective missions. The Sea Harriers remain on active standby alert.
Then I order EMCOMS for all craft except the Hawkeye and (of course) the sonobuoys dropped by the S3Bs. EMCOMS means radio silence plus radar silence, meaning that you now cannot know precisely where I am purely through my radio emmisions. (Although you can know where my Hawkeye is in that way since it's stil blanketing the area with AEW radar.) Most of my communications are now entirely satcom based (or, for purely ship-to-ship where possible, it can be done with a lazer transmitter, but that's limited to about 5 NM in good weather.) Thus, I am still in touch with all elements of the CVBG.
Of course, this doesn't blind my passive sensors (passive radar, passive sonar, visual, IR sensors, etc.) so I'll most likely still be alerted against incoming threats even if if they slip by the Hawkeye. This, of course, makes my Hawkeye even that much more of a vital link in my armor.

Post subject:  Re: War!

My F-22's on BARCAP patrol engage Ausiguy's "Air-to-ground attack fighters", and shoot them down with AMRAAM and Sidewinder salvos. However, one of Ausiguys fighters gets through my BARCAP unharmed and proceeds towards my Hawkeye, so the F-22s on HAVCAP patrol are forced to break HAVCAP and engage. They are successful, but have expended all their missiles and need to return to base to re-arm. That leaves just my F-35s from the USS Wasp as my fighter screen, So I scramble the Sea Hornets from the HMS Arc Royal to supplement my air defenses while the Ford brings new F-22 AAWs to the flight deck.

Meanwhile, My F-22s that were sent against the bombers are on an intercept course, and have gone active-radar, closing to engage.

The HSV-2 Swift activates it's Stealth mode, and vanishes from radar.

The Tomahawk cruise missiles are still in flight.

Receiving incoming fire from the moon-base, my Picket Ships turn on their point defense radars and activate their PHALANX defense systems to shoot down incoming salvos. However, it soon becomes apparent that thanks to false target generation from the USS Freedom (LCS-1) the moon-base fire is actually delivering wildly inaccurate shots, which all miss the CVBG by several hundred kilometers... which, sadly, devastates a large family of whales in the process.
The surviving whales, mutated my the moon-base fire, grow massive brains and gain awesome psionic powers, which they use to establish an undersea kingdom where they rule over all sea life. This bears upon the existing conflict in no way whatsoever. Now let us never speak of it again.
In retaliation, The USS Wisconsin (BB-64) launches a sequence of eight LRBM (Long Range Ballistic Missiles), one after the other, at the moon base.

Meanwhile, my four 688i-class submarines, which have been hidden until now, fire their secret weapons: Submarine Launched Anti-Spaceship Ballistic Missiles (SLASBMs) at the Mothership.
