![]() OBJECTION! If you'll please recall, the witness saw this at about 2:45, 2:50 at the latest. It's understandable for someone like the witness to have waited just 10 minutes before reporting this. Besides, he didn't hear a gunshot, so he may have not thought of it at the time. |

![]() Hmm... Yes. Perhaps he was afraid the Police wouldn't take him... seriously? ![]() *chuckles under breath at bad joke* |

![]() Stuff like that happens all the time in the park, your honour. If I called the cops every time I saw something suspicious, I'd have 'em on my speed-dial. I figured I'd put away my stand, grab a bite, and mosey on down to the cop shop. |

![]() ![]() Wait a second, you said that you were going to call the police on your break, in about 10-15 minutes from 2:45. But then you said the police contacted you first?! Even if they showed up right when you saw the defendant, that would leave them only 10-15 minutes to do a crime scene investigation! Another factor: the defendant was at the body when the police showed up! For the police to contact you first, they would have to show up at or before 3:00. But if what you say is true, then it took the defendant 15-20 minutes to get out of the maze in the first place after the crime was committed at 2:33. So how is she able to get back to the body in less than 10 minutes for the police to find her there? And then the police would have to find you, after running crime scene investigation, all before 3:00! ![]() Your times don't add up! How do you explain that? |

![]() Ah, come on! I thought about calling it in on my break, but I figured I'd wait until the end of the day, after I'd closed. Cops standing around my stand asking questions is bad for business, you know? And I don't know how she got back to the frigging body so fast! Maybe she knew the maze really well! |

(Let's say... The Defendant claims that she discovered the body at around 2:45, the phone call to the police was made at 2:50, the Police arrived at 3:00) |

(^Thank you!) ![]() There's still the problem with your times and the defendant. According to this convieniently appearing police record, the police arrived at 3:00. That still makes it difficult to believe that, in coming back through the maze, the defendant was able to cut her time almost in half. In the best case scenario, she would run out of the maze in 15 minutes, and then have to run back in less than 15 minutes to be there when the police arrive. In the worst case, she runs out of the maze in 20 minutes, and then has to run back in less than 10 minutes. It is not very likely that she could do either. |

![]() But that's just it, you couldn't have seen her at 2:45, because there's no way the police could have found her at the body at 3:00! Your Honor, I would like to submit this police record, showing that the police found the defendant standing near the body at 3:00, when they arrived. ![]() So tell me, Mr. lion!, what would you know about this? (Police record just makes what TFE said official) |

![]() Hmmm... *rubs head with balloon mallet in thought* ![]() The victim died at 2:33, the Witness claims to have seen the Defendant at 2:45, and the Police found her by the victim at 3:00? ![]() Where is the contridiction? If it takes 10 minutes to get out of the maze, that would make it around 2:43, which is accurate with the witness' testimony. Running back would take another 10 minutes, and she would arrive at 2:53, which is before the police arrive. Can you explain this, Defense? |

| Post subject: | Re: Ace Attorney: H*RWF (Current Witness: it's a lion!) |
![]() I never gave a specific time, but I forgot the crime was done at 2:33. The witness claims to have seen her at 2:45-2:50. If it's the former, then it took 12 minutes and she needed to get back in less than 15. She could make it, but it would be close, not counting the time it took to get rid of the gun (estimated 30 seconds- 1 minute). If it's the latter, it took 17 minutes and she would need to get back in less than 10 minutes. The witness has given her a one-minute window of when she could have come, 2:45. Any later, and she would not make it back in time. She was already running very fast, so it is safe to assume that she went out as fast as she could. Going back even faster would be very difficult indeed. I'm saying that there is a big possibility that the witness could be wrong. |

Can we prove that? I don't see any evidence that says how long she was running.... Maybe you need to think outside the box. Maybe there's a contradiction if she did make it back in time. (I just read through the entire thread again and I wanna say TFE, you do the judge proud.) |

(Finally, back to da case!) ![]() No, your Honor, we do not have evidence as to how long it takes to run the maze. However, I do believe we have somebody here who might know something about this. It's a lion!, you said yourself that you've been in the maze. How long does it take you to go through it? |
