RULES
This game will be in true Ace Attorney style(before Apollo Justice, last case). Key things to remember: The Prosecution has the advantage, it's the burden of the Defense to provide EVIDENCE to prove his/her client innocent.
1. Use Sprites: (provided in links below)
Please use when presenting evidence. You MAY use Sprites for your emotions(i.e. characters), but they aren't necessary. Please grab 1 character and use it as much as you want, but don't change to a different character mid-game. (unless your character is magic)
2. Defense rules:
Defense: You have 5 strikes (!!!!!). You'll always get a warning before you get a strike. If you use all your strikes, game over, Prosecution wins. You may 'press' the witness as much as you want, unless warned by the Judge that this is a sensitive client and there will be penalties for pressing too hard.
Defense Aide: You may talk to the Defense at any time, as much as you want. BUT if you speak to the Judge/Witness/Prosecution you have the potential to be kicked out if you bug them too much (i.e. by asking them too many questions, yelling, w/e).
Judge owns you overall, listen to the judge or you will lose. Find loopholes wherever you can, pay close attention to the evidence, question as much as you can(unless warned), and protect your client at all costs. Don't let the Prosecution bully you - You think have JUSTICE and the TRUTH on your side!
3. Prosecution rules:
... You can pretty much get away with murder. You have your evidence, your detective, your witnesses, and your snazzy catch phrases/poses. You can even abuse the Judge and get away with it... (what the Heck is up with this game?) Anyway. Don't slack off, though, if you don't set up your strategy correctly you can still lose.
Organize your evidence(sprites) based on the story, shut down the defense, and protect your witnesses. You think you have JUSTICE and TRUTH on your side!
4. Witness rules:
Answer the questions you're asked as vaguely as you want, or with as much detail as you want. If I let you know through PMs that you're the murderer, try your best to throw suspicion on another target(do NOT give it away!). Please present sprites with any evidence that the Defense manages to wrangle out of you, and know when you're defeated(break down, cry, confess to everything only at the last minute). You have free range on your character's personality, so be as funky as you want. Obey the Judge at all times, but feel free to abuse the lawyers - just be careful, if you abuse the Prosecution they'll be less apt to try and protect you.
Please PM me(the Judge) with the contradictions in your stories. And please make sure that you DO have contradictions - make them as hard or as easy as you want. I'll let you know if I see anything else/want you to add anything.
5. Player rules:
If you have knowledge of the way the Ace Attorney games are played, you should be good to go. You know how bizarre things can get, so take advantage of that. Be as characteristic as possible, if you need to speak out of character use () brackets around your text to signify this. See the previous game for examples of styles, speak, and etc... (link below)
What the Judge says GOES, but if you have any beefs with the way things turned out, feel free to PM me. Ultimately, you can mutate my story anyway you want.
IF YOU ARE GOING TO BE INACTIVE FOR WHATEVER REASON, please let us know! If you're in a key role(like the attorneys or a witness being cross-examined) and you're going to be gone for more then 2 days, PICK A REPLACEMENT. You may have your spot if you come back.
You'll be kicked out of the game if: You're inactive and you don't tell anybody, you're abusive to people while you're out of character, or if you don't listen to me. No worries, I'll give everybody plenty of warnings before anything severe happens. Overall: Have fun!

STORY
The defendant stands accused of murdering a 24-year-old woman, Felinda Blank. The deceased was found in the Memorial Garden of Barrowford park, after the Police received a call from her fiancé, Capt. Ido Nos (who is currently under suspicion of having mafia ties).
The defendant was found by her body, and resisted arrest before being placed in solitary confinement. The accused motive is burglary, as the engagement ring of the deceased was found in the defendant's coat pocket when she was searched.
