An elementary school classic.
For those of you who do not know how to play, it's simple.
In the IRL setting, 7 kids would stand up, and everyone else would stay seated. One of the seven would say "Heads down, coming around" and the kids that aren't standing up put their heads down and stick their thumbs up. The 7 kids standing up would tap one person's thumb each. When all seven had chosen someone, they would go back to the front and say "Heads up seven up." The seven who had their thumbs tapped would stand up. Then, one at a time, they would guess who tapped their thumb. If they guessed correctly, they would go to the front and the person who tapped them would go to their seat. This keeps going on until the class gets tired of it.
On the Internet, it'll work differently. Only 14 people will be able to play at a time.. I will randomly choose the seven who get to do the picking. The people who are picking will decide who's thumb they want to "tap," then let us know when they've chosen. The other seven will then guess who picked them.
So... I'll wait.

Tapping:
Word Up
Silent Wulf
Shadowfox
Askingforachallenge
Sloshy

Sitting:
Dacheet15 (touched)
strongfan
RammsteinRunner (touched)
pcp11
Pop_tire1

Ok, we now have enough to play. Get to it guys.

I used to play this game in school. I'll try it.

I'll give it a go. We could have more than 14 and the stnading ones could PM you their person and then you PM the person.

I'll join in.

Code:
#include <iostream>
using namespace std;
int main(){
    cout << "I will join!";
    cin.get();
    return 0;
}

or, if you don't speak C++:
Code:
c:\ join_the_freaking_game_dot_exe.exe

or, if you haven't watched that one sbmail:
Code:
I'm joining!

K, we'll do this instead.
NOW, just to speed things up, I select me, Silent Wulf, Shadowfox, Askngforachallenge, Sloshy, strongfan, and just to be fair and not go in order, RammsteinRunner, to be up first.
We need more contenders.

WHAT IS THIS BLASPHEMY
Seriously, just call me AFAC or Asky or something that isn't a paragraph long.
And, I assume you already understood this, but details on what I meant anyway:
I pm you saying "Touch Fredguy3's thumb" and you pm Fredguy3 saying "You were touched." Kay? Kay. We're good.

Aww. It died.
Seriously, let's see this happen. It's a good concept.

What's fun about Heads Up Seven Up is peeking to see who tapped you.

Or, if you're not interested in flat-out cheating, there was always listening to a certain person's footsteps, or how hard they tapped you, or if they were a mouth-breather... whatever. Here, there are zero clues to work with.

Not as fun.

*sigh* All too true.
Maybe we could do one of these:
1. Put clues in the PMs. Just an idea; haven't thought it through yet.
2. Have five people rather than seven so it's easier to guess.

2 sounds good.

Post subject:  Re: Heads Up Seven Up

Only because you'd still be picking ;)
But ok, we'll try this one, if Word Up is ok with it. Meaning...
RammsteinRunner and strongfan are now sitting. We need at least two more people to play.

Where is Word Up? We have enough people to play now, but we can still have more.

Ok guys, we've made it to 5 people standing and 5 sitting. Start picking, standers.

Legal double post.

Have all the standers picked yet?
Or were we just letting this thread die?

Nope, just two. They may have been busy with TWG? Who knows.

Post subject:  Re: Heads Up... Five?... Up

I'd be the second one. And I don't know how many of them are in TWG, so it's probably possible.
