Assuming that all aunts, uncles, and nieces are related by blood, rather than by marriage: cousin's sister = cousin (dad's cousin's aunt's brother's grandma's grandson's niece's dad's cousin three times removed!) aunt's brother = uncle (dad's cousin's uncle's grandma's grandson's niece's dad's cousin three times removed!) uncle's grandma's grandson = uncle (dad's cousin's uncle's niece's dad's cousin three times removed!) cousin's uncle's niece = cousin (dad's cousin's cousin's dad's cousin three times removed!) dad's cousin = cousin once removed (cousin once removed's cousin four times removed!) cousin once removed's cousin four times removed = cousin five times removed (The number - 1st, 2nd, etc. - is indeterminable.) So he's just your cousin five times removed. Keep it simple, stupid! |
