And beside, the Master's Army can take those knights. They have lasers, flamethrowers and and a nuclear bomb.

Also, if you're couting the sequel, the Enclave has a couple of nukes, and the FEV virus that kills anything that comes into air contact with it.

My thesis: Final Fantasy sucks becuase of the severe restrictions it puts on gameplay, forcing you through a linear path filled with cliches and tired, boring combat aided by 500 half-hour, unskippable cutscenes and the abscence of any dialog options at all.

Absence of dialog options? I beg to differ. You obviously have never played the Great-Grandpappy of RPGs, FF6. Plenty of dialog options.
