OK, this game takes a while to explain, so PAY ATTENTION!
The object is to type something so random, it has no connection either inside itself or to the previous post.

Example:
:homsar: You sank my Jenga-jam.
:bubs: I've got a lovely bunch of coconuts.
:marzi: Ha! That guy turned into a window.
:kot: Is there a license plate from Neptune in the shoe?
etc...

Rules:
1. Serves must be no longer than 1 line in the typing box.

2. Profane/obscene/lewd posts, spamming & flaming will not be tolerated & will immediately result in being banned from receiving points WITH NO EXCEPTIONS.

3. If you are banned from receiving points, you may still play, but you cannot say YGSUSF!.

4. NO REPEATS or DOUBLE POSTS! However, if necessary, I (and only I) will bump the thread if I'm the last poster. Also, no TOTPDs.

5. All connections may only be "caught" by the poster immediately preceding the connected serve. At this point, the catcher, and only the catcher, says "You got served up somethin fierce!" to the violator.
Example of a Legal Serve:
:coachz: There's a bustle in my hedgerow!
:pom: Peter Pan flies in the 4th dimension.
:sm: FISHING HOOK!
:pom: Peter Pan fought Captain Hook! You Got Served Up Somethin Fierce!
Pom Pom gets the point, since Strong Mad's serve was connected to Pom Pon.

6.You cannot say "You Got Served Up Somethin' Fierce!" just because you noticed a connection. You would have to be the poster who the "connector" connected his/her serve to.
Example of an Illegal Serve:
:sb: Purple sucks.
:cheat: Dry ice is SO pacifying!
:hr: Some people SUCK on a PACIFIER! You got served up somethin fierce!
Homestar would not get the point, since The Cheat's serve was connected to Strong Bad.

7. You get 1 point for every legal serve you "catch" & -1 points for a stretch, or a late or out-of-order YGSUSF. If you have 0.5 point (which I might give out), your score will be reduced to zero. If you have no points, your score will remain at zero.

8. If you simulpost, and it was a YGSUSF!, you lose a point for technically being late. It happens.

9. Whoever can get the most people to get served by the time this thread is pruned wins the Cardboard Box of DOOM!

10. I am the Judge for this game, meaning that I say the final word for any disputes in this game. I distribute the points, but I can also restrict players from receiving points. If you legally deserve a point, you will get one. If not, you will not get a point.

11. No YGSUSF!-ing for very short words like "I", "the", etc. I will be the judge if there are any disputes.

Points Standings
1. IantheGecko-46 (I'm ineligible to win, since I made this thing.)
2. buhubs-10

1. You can only post on one line.
2. You mentioned both Jane Pauley
3. AND Click pens!

YOU GOT SERVED UP SOMETHIN' FIERCE!

That makes 3 points for me.

Next round:
That tree is evil.

[You're lucky I didn't post right after you, Clan. That would have been a YGSUSF!]

A dulcimer! The tomato says hi.

You CUT DOWN a tree with a CHASINSAW! YGSUSF!

Mustard says hi.

[notingame] Wait a minute... Wouldn't I had to have been the one to make that serve? Also, I'm not sure that Clan should be allowed to play, since he clearly doesn't understand the rules.[/notingame]

You said mustard! YGSUSF! There can't be any connection to the previous post.

Chessman: No, since making a connection in your own post is also illegal.

That teddy bear is smiling!

Number one: That makes no sense.
Number two: That is an illegal serve. Read the rules.

If you burn an animal, it might be totally dead. Also, your sentence makes perfect sense if placed next to mine! YGSUSF!

Mr. Clean isn't a real person.

You need to read the rules, too. His post was not next to yours and you missed your chance to do any serving on my post.

And Clan, you want your post to have NOTHING TO DO WITH THE POST BEFORE YOURS.

Guitars have no leggies.

You need to explain HOW that was a serve.
