Why do you think it'd be locked? It isn't a spam topic. It's just here so we could discuss everything we want. But no, I wasn't. Were you?

it isn't discontinued, but you don't NEED a board to play.Just the monster manual and the players handbook and the dungeon master's guide.

I DO I DO I DO!!! I've been playing since I was seven years old and I'm nineteen now... I've run games, played in games, watched games, and my whole family plays D&D as well... my dad runs the game and we all have characters in his world that we have been playing for years. I/My parents own every version of D&D plus all of the monster manuals for every version, and they even played with a dude that played in Gary Gygax's original group (Gygax is the creator of D&D for those who don't know). I'm a D&D addict.

You know what really sucked? That D&D movie that came out a few years ago. It was so bad I didn't even see it.

Another thing that sux is when things go like this:

Japan TV makes a very nice anime for teenagers. Japan people: Yay!

American TV dubs the anime and thinks it's for children, so they send it like four in the afternoon. American people: That's a preatty good anime.

Swedish TV dubs it again, making a lot of translation errors and somehow removes all sound but music and voices, cencors blood, and thinks it's for small children so they send it at seven in the morning. Me: Uhm, okwthlol..?!

so sweden has no trade relations with japan or what?, sounds like you guys get table scraps, poor you.

Author:  Obomaru [ Mon Oct 31, 2005 6:14 pm ]
Post subject:

Wait-a-minute! You live in Sweden? So it's the problem of all kinda eastern European countries... Sad, really. Not that I'm a fan of anime, but there's that problem with video games: They just don't make it here, except maybe some Playstation consoles, but I really don't care about them all that much... Except stuff like Tekken3, Crash Bandicoot and maybe Spyro, but bleckh.

y'know those shows where it seems they just gave the cartoon and nothing else?
I knew someone who did translation on one apparently they had to pretty
much make up their own stories.Oh, by the way, the show was called Belle and Sebastian and it was on nick.
