Sweat trickles down your forehead....you wipe it off, your hand creeps ever more slowley towards the handle... you grasp it, fearing of what lurks underneath that acursed Trap Door..... you pull on the Handle when......It breaks off. damn. the SOB who "Fixed" the trapdoor apparantly just Painted the old handle with gray paint, insted of paying the 3 GP for a new handle. ahhwell, those little stubs that didnt crack off are still there and intact. Make a Strength check to see if you can open it now. |

Hurrah, Hurrah, you get it open. yeah, kinda looks like the one Extal fell down a little earlier. this looks sturdy, and it goes down to something like a wooded down mine shaft, dirt everywhere, just most covered in white painted wood. alright, what now? |

toolate for trap searches, just get ready for a BIG Insanity hit. You guys enter a room with a Weird Green Tint, there seems to be some weird, and unknown device that is prety freakin huge. seems to be working off of whatever the heck Lightning is made of, for the little Arcs of lighting are jumping to some other metal rods. theres a metal rod on the floor and it leads to a wall, then goes up into something like a pentegram on the wall. theres a man in the middle of that pentegram, looks like he has been crucified on it. wait, hes not crucified, he's being held by Leather straps, and a Metal Helmet is on his head. there are 4 little windows, 2 on each side of the wall where the man is being held. theres a door on that wall too. theres also a Lever on that Machine i told you earlier. What now genious of Nazareth? |

If I've learned anything in this place so far, it's that nothing is as simple as it seems. Ok, squad: Here's the plan. HG, try making a Lore check to see if you can Identify the device and see if there's magic involved or not. If there's no magic involved, Extal can go ahead and make a Disable Device check to see if he can safely free the guy from the device. I don't wanna pull that switch only to acidentaly fry him to a crisp. In any case, we wanna see if this guy is alive or not; If he is still alive he might be able to explain what happened to him. |

Sarge walks up to the guy... he looks like hes alive, but theres only one problem... his Heart, Stomach, Lungs, And Liver are missing, his Chest Cavity is open, and there are some plastic looking tubes coming out from where his organs should be, and they lead into the wall, maybee the windows hold some information as to where they are, or something.
