Bad Idea: Tell a joke so rediculously convoluted and full of such big words that by the time you get to the end of it half of your audience has wandered off and only that nerd with the weird teeth is still there and he's the only one who laughs, so hard in fact that he has an asthma attack and ends up suffocating to death.
