If you don't mind, Dactyl, I'm going to change that to "Hanlon and Janlon" (Han*lon and Jan*lon).
Hanlon and Janlon were the married couple who founded Lon Lon Ranch, located to this day in Hyrule Field. They were made famous for breeding cows that produced the highest quality of milk in the history of all Hyrule. This milk was named after the ranch that brought forth these extraordinary cows, Lon Lon Milk.
When Hanlon died he left ownership of the ranch to his eldest son, Melon (pronounced Mel*lon). Melon proceded to breed the superior cows in the same manner as his father before him. But Melon sought to further the productivity of Lon Lon Ranch by attempting to fashion a superior breed of horse. While the horses of Lon Lon Ranch were from then on of the highest quality, he never completed his search for the what he called “The Great Horse”. When he died he charged his twelve sons and their son’s sons to continue his work.
For 12 generations, the duty of running the ranch has been given to the eldest son of the Lon family in honor of Hanlon and Melon. But now the self proclaimed "Great Ingo" has been given charge of Lon Lon Ranch by edict of the former Ruler of Hyule, Ganondorf. What Ingo plans for the future of the ranch is uncertain, but it is believed by some that he will give the ranch back to the rightful heir, Talon.
This is a tribute to Nintendo, the N64, and to all the Nintendites of Forumopolis.
