Alright, before you swamp me with "ABP'ds", topofsm has given me permission to do this (Check out the exsisting thread). Everyone who has signed up is still signed up. Same rules, same game, different host to [s]mock you as the mafia gets you one by one[/s] do hosty stuff.

In case you missed out last time, here's the instructions. First, after the spots are taken, I'll PM to tell you your position. There are 3 mafias, 2 cops, and 2 angels (slight variation from last game, I'm making variety). If you don't get a PM, you are a regular folk. Don't give away your identity. In the first part of the round, the mafias agree on someone to kill and PM me about it. The angels and cops each get to decide on who to save/investigate. If the person the cop investigates is a mafia, I'll tell you. If the person normally being killed by the mafia is saved by the angel, they are no longer killed. After this happens, I'll tell you who got killed, or got killed but somehow saved. Next, they give a short discussion on who they think the mafia is, and then everyone has about 3 days to post who they want to kill, or PM me. Then the person with the most votes gets voted out of the city (AKA killed in an obscure and humorous fashon).

Hey Chichindrich, you should make it now that it is illegal to reveal your position. I forgot to add that in my last post, the one you copied and pasted. :p

I disagree. You should be able to say your role, though other players might not believe you

Though I think players shouldn't be allwoed to speak once they are dead. I could've told everyone I thought Susan was mafia, and in the end I was right, but I know it's usually agains the rules when I've played in real life.

I dunno. If the detectives each sacrifice their lives telling people who the mafia, that leaves just 1 mafia left. I think people will beleive them more.
I kind of felt a let-down in my last game, even though it wasn't me playing it.

Concerning revealing your character, I'm more inclined to say that you can't, but I haven't made an official decision yet. I'll tell you before the game starts.

Half the fun is trying to figure out who is who and lieing to each other. In one game (TWG at a different forum, Ill finish the story someday...) I was a wolf and they were catching on, I also saw my wolf friends trying to defend me and to prevent them from accidently revealing themselves I just up and revealed myself. This saved the other 3 wolves and led to a game win for us. So you see, the ability to reveal themselves can change a game for the better or worse, thus making it more fun.

Also, you cant really stop people. :p

I'm thinking to go ahead with allowing people to reveal thier positions, but I might also decrease the number of detectives as well. Tell me if you think this is a good idea or not.

No, keep it like it is. I didn't think there was anything wrong with the last game.

I think you should pm everyone even if they are a citizen. in the first zombie outbreak game, people revealed their positions by accident because a lot of people were posting about how they didn't get a pm and others did. Luckily, it didn't matter in that game, but it does in this one, so it's probably a good idea to pm everyone.

If there's still a spot left, I'll take it. I've got to get myself more involved. I'm not behind enough in class yet.

Well, the person could just say in their post, "Okay, I PM'd anyone. If you didn't get a PM, you are a person."

I felt ignored last time because the mafias/detectives/angels didn't vote for whom to be killed, and everyone said that the mafias weren't supposed to post much. I told everyone openly that everybody votes.

Yeah, but some people might miss that. I think it's best to play it safe

Okay, all spots filled, we'll begin soon. I'll PM everyone with their positions once I finish my homework. REMEMBER! Mafia and other special classes act like townspeople during the discussion/voting portion. They only have special functions during the killing/saving/investigating period.

Alrighty, the PM's are out!

ONE LAST RULE REVIEW! Townspeople have no special function. They just get killed. :p They participate in voting off and discussion, BUT IT IS NOT LIMITED TO JUST THEM. Mafia/doctors/detectives can vote & discuss as well.

Mafia: They PM me with who they wnat to kill. It would be wise for the mafia to cooperate with each other.

Angels/doctors: They each PM me with who they wnat to save. Together, they save any two players. If that person is attacked by the mafia, they won't die.

Detectives: They PM me with a person they want to investigate. I will tell them if that person is or is not a mafia.

Got it? Let the game begin! Mafia, angels, and detectives, PM me!

*sighs*

toppy, the whole point of me PM'ing people is so that their positions AREN'T revealed. Asking nicely won't help. Now go back to your room, young'in!

For the love of all that is decent, get your PM's in mafia/angels/detectives!
