In this case the subject was given a challenge with an obvious and rather redundant answer. The challenge, though very simple, was sarcasticly presented as impossible to solve. Rather than state the obvious, the subject chose to answer as if it WAS difficult. It is unclear whether the subject did not see a simple answer and/or sarcasm or if he noticed the sarcasm and responded in an intentionally humorous way.
