Did he notice something about the taste of the albatross?

Or the texture?

Or was there an object in the bite?

Even though there were no albatrosses where he went, did the man have any kind of albatross-related experiences there at all? For example, did anyone talk to him about albatrosses?

Did taking the bite of albatross directly cause him to want to kill himself?

Had he killed anyone before biting into the albatross?

Does this have anything to do with the Avian Flu? Was Person 1 alerted about the Avian Flu being found in albatrosses? You said a destination of the cruise is relevant--is it a destination Person 1 had already visited before dining on the albatross? Was the relevant destination a destination Person 1 was about to visit after dining on the albatross? Are there more than one relevant destinations?

Yes. (It was established that something about the taste made him decide to kill himself)

No.

It'd be impossible not to - he went on the cruise, the cruise stopped somewhere, nd later he went into a resturaunt and ate some albatross.

No

Destenations of the cruise? No.

You don't know how close that would've ben if I hadn't changed a few parts of the story.

No, no one was waiting for him.

Then why'd you go and have to change it?

Did he have a pet albatross that got taken away and that was his pet? :p

Did the albatross remind him of his father?
Or anyone, for that matter?

No.

And I'd changed it before I first posted the riddle.

Is the destination a place in the real world?

Was the destination an island?

Or A foreign country?

He had some kind of encounter with something albatross-related there...Did someone use hypnotism to make him kill himself when he tasted it?

Did he talk to someone about albatrosses?

Did they get into an argument?

I GOT IT!

The guy had been stranded on an island with 2 other people. While on the island the 3 men had to survive. The three would starve if they didn't find food soon. The second guy killed the third guy and with the guy in this riddle ate the 3rd guy calling the stew they made "roast albatross". The man liked it, assumed the second guy committed suicide or some other thing. He was rescued by a cruise ship. Then when he came back to civilization, he went into the restaurant, ordered his new favorite dish, and upon tasting the difference, realized he had eaten his friend on the island.

Yes, I remember it from a Myspace bulletin. Repost it, and you get the answer!

There's this one riddle I know that would make a good one of these...and it even contains the "main character kills self" motif. o_o How about that for a fifth one, if this topic is still alive then?

Ok, here's a new riddle. This one was made by my friend, so he gets all credit for it.

5 people (Person 1, 2, 3, etc.) were in Person 3's backyard, celebrating. Person 1 then took two things out of his pockts. Seeing the second thing, Person 2 jumped on Person 1, knocking the two objects out of his hand. Why?

Were the objects alive?

Were the two objects like two parts of a whole object (like a grenade and its pin)?

Were the two things in different pockets?

Are people 4 & 5 important at all?

Does it matter who all these people are in relation to each other (like if they're friends or relatives or bosses or whatever)?

because fireworks are illegal?

Did Person 2 think that the item was dangerous?
Does it matter what the first item was?

Could the two things be used together?

Were they celebrating a holiday?

Was Item 1 edible?

Was Item 2 edible?
